<GMStoren> The trip has been fairly uneventful (thankfully) through the lush Upperlands, and soon the trees begin to change to almost a form of towering fungus, the castle of King Truffle not for away, rising above them majestically.

Several short and squat Matangans are looking curiously at your arrival, their caps many different colors. Fortunately these are the more friendly variant of Mushboom race...

* Rachel grins a bit at the sleeping Cody and tugs his hand gently. "C'mon, sleepyhead. Time to be official and commanding."

<GMStoren> Upon enetring, you see the whole building seems to be made out of various plants of exotic colors, very flashy. It has a welcoming feel to it, several servants strolling along merrily, despite the fact there is a world crisis and such... ^^

She then pulls back the handle of the axe and uses it to catapult her body forward, making sure not to let go of the axe. As she flys forward, multiple illusions appear behind Niki and follow her. As Niki flies past the enemies the illusions of her slice through everything in their path.
* Niki runs back to the party and as she does the illusions follow her back for another onslaught causing insult to injury...well more injury.

<GMStoren> The path is very uninteresting for the most part, and it terminates in a small circluar room. the wind howls a bit, forced to this depth, and plays with your hair and loose articles. Pushing the annoyance aside, you see a shiny round silver object nestled in a crevice.
* Cody blinks as his hair whips around his head.
* Chrys chuckles as his hair does little more than billow dramatically. Gotta love keeping it up via magic. ^_-

* Chrys points at the shiny. ^^

<GMStoren> Djinn taps Rhiana's shoulder, and she casts vacuum at the orb! The funnel seems to be absorbed by it, and a shrill *ping* sounds out into the cave...

<Chrys> ... We take care of it, and it goes "ping". We've done a British man very proud, I'd figure.
<GMStoren> Some rock begins to cast off sand and shift, a slab falling off across from you, and exposing a traesure chest.
* Rachel bursts out laughing.

* Rachel stops.
* Rachel points.

* Cody heads to the treasure chest.
<GMStoren> Djinn, satisfied, returns to the ethers that spawned him. the wind's notably calmer now.
* Chrys chuckles a little and starts examining the chest, to see if it's further protected.

<GMStoren> Going further in, you find quite a sight. In contrast to the drab exterior, this chamber is..white! Upon further inspection you find that it's not just fancy coloring, you're in fact walking in a place carpetted with Flammie feathers.

* Rachel pauses and wiggles her feet.
* Cody smiles, "...Nice. ^^;"
* Chrys raises an eyebrow and whispers in Cody's ear.

* Chrys takes the opportunity to look away from the cuteness, walking up and patting Flammie gently. "You gonna be okay, girl..? You got messed up pretty bad.."
* Rachel is reduced to a childlike adorableness as she cuddles her now favorite Mana Beast baby and looks towards Flammie..
