Several of the domestic staff sit around the empty dinnertable, mulling over the uncertainty of the country, and don't pay Cody too much heed as he passes them by to the supply areas. One lone dragoon keeps a watchful eye on him from afar, but he too, seem unwilling to interfere. * Cody doesn't even look at the guards, drawn into himself. He looks beyond exhuasted. He grabs a few herbs from the top shelf. * Rachel quietly slides into the storeroom behind Cody and closes the door after nodding to the guard, flashing the sword faintly in the firelight as if it is her right to be alone with the Gemma... * Cody blinks, and turns around, "..." « dashing rachel.. ^^ » Cody... ...Rachel... It is devoid of staffers right now, at the request of the group for privacy. * Cody 's eyes darken more, and he sits beside Rahne, taking the herbs he brought with him and slowly grinding them up into some sort of paste. A small flicker of green hovers over Rahne watchfully, though it drifts across the room as Cody returns. * Rahne draws in a deep breath.. * Hey Emerald... * Cody blinks, and looks down at Rahne.
