<GMStoren> We last left the group gathering at the home of the singer Rhiana Athena, and formulating their plans to head to the water Palace at the King's behest. However, there was one thing left undone, the visit to a certain Black Market. While some sleep, others awaken to see this exotic place...
<GMStoren> Rachel stalks the hallway, her mind heavy with recent thoughts... as she turns the corner into the darkened living room she hears a gentle sob.
* Rachel pauses and raises an eyebrow slowly...she remembers that Cody was in the living room and edges out into view.
* Cody's head is resting against the post of the sofa, his shoulders shaking slightly, as if crying.
* Rachel brushes her hair from her eyes, her mood darkening further at his sadness. "Cody...?"
* Cody looks up suddenly, sniffling. "Wh...Rachel?"
* Rachel smiles faintly. "You alright? What's up?"
* Cody looks down and blushes a bit, angrily wiping the tears away. "No...No...I'm fine. Something...something in my eye..."
<Rachel> Must be something rather big, then, huh? Don't act all tough, Cody, only jerks pretend they don't cry. It's alright, you know.
* Rachel sits down beside Cody slowly and eyes him.
* Cody looks up at her, blinking. "You...you mean..." He shakes his head. "I don't want to burden you with my problems...It's just..."
<Rachel> Hey...I'm your friend, right? You can talk to me. No, really, that's why I was born with ears. :)
<Cody> Friend...
* Cody sighs, leaning against the couch. "It's just...Rachel...do you have bad dreams a lot?"
* Rachel nods. "Yep. All the time. Why?"
<Cody> ...Because I have them all the time too -_-; And...I'm afraid to sleep at night.
* Cody chuckles darkly. "You must find me pretty weak for telling you that...Being scared of dreams..."
* Rachel shakes her head and laughs. "Cody...if anything you're pretty fucking strong...not many guys would have the balls to admit they're afraid of anything, let alone dreams."
<Cody> ...Seriously? If I told anyone that back at home...I'd be clobbered until I was black and blue. -_-;
<Rachel> Yeah well, I hate to tell you, but I'm not 'back at home', I'm here and I understand you perfectly. 
* Cody smiles a little, looking Rachel straight in the eyes. "Thank you...that means a lot to me..."
<GMStoren> From behind you, you hear some noise, and see Keylia standing in the corner of the hall.
* Rachel blinks and doesn't reply to Cody, turning to look at Keylia.
<Keylia> Man... I should take a picture. ^_-
* Cody blushes. "Ah... ^^; No. I have bad morning hair!" ^^;
* Rachel flushes hotly. "Hey. Stuff it, oh silent and fluffy."
* Rachel stands ^^;
* Rahne mumbles and rolls over. "I'll take... Zzzz... Hodgepodge for $800, Alex... Zzzzzz..." Her tail thumps lightly on the floor for a moment..
* Rachel rubs her neck and looks like she hasn't slept at all. ^^;
* Meira peeks into the room, kitty ears twitching. "Silent and fluffy? Did you know I was listening in?"
<Rachel> Ah god.
* Rachel sighs. ^^;
<Chrys> "ooc: Buck. "
* Cody aghs and throws Rhiana's blanket over his head. ^^
* Keylia smirks...
* Rachel looks at Keylia as if wanting to say something but coughs and looks at her feet. "Anyway...when is breakfast served at this rather intimidatingly large home?"
<Cody> I'm not here! ^^; Ignore me!
* Meira steps into the room and smiles, tail swishing behind her. "But I can hear you..." =^^=
* Rhiana blinks at the top of the stairs. "Intimidatingly large? Not really."
<Keylia> Uhh... Rache... you do realize breakfast isn't for a loooong time yet.
* Rachel's stomach makes a rather loud rumbling noise and she realizes she hasn't eaten for many days.
<Rachel> Uh.. ^^;
<Keylia> It's about midnight. :)
<Rachel> I'm hungry?
* Rachel looks cute. ^^;
<Keylia> Wanna pick up some exotic foods while we go? *grin*
* Meira looks puzzled at Rachel. "I'm supposed to know?" =^^=;;
* Rhiana snickers, "You know, girlie charms don't work on me, Rachel, was it?"
<Rachel> Sure, Key. ;)
<Rachel> Girlie charms? O_o
* Rachel blinks at Rhiana. O_o
* Rahne sits up, rubbing her eyes. "What's with all the noise so late?" -_-;
* Niki is sleeping soundly in her room. "Zzzzzzzzzzz..."
<Rhiana> Of course, no charms work on me.
<Rhiana> ...comes with the territory, I guess.
* Rachel heads over beside Keylia, her stomach again protesting. ^^;
<Rhiana> ...what time is it anyway?
* Meira shrugs. "This kitty doesn't carry a time telling device..."
<Rachel> Midnight like Key said. ^_-
<Keylia> What am I a record? It's nearly midnight. ^^;
<Rhiana> You're wanting breakfast at night?
<Keylia> I'm going to look for Chrys...
<Rachel> Ahhh...food can wait, really. ^^;
<Keylia> I toldja before, you don't have to come. But hey, knock yourselves out. ^^
* Rahne gets to her feet, and in a half-sleepy daze, heads over towards the rest of the group. "What's happening? Why so much commotion?"
<Rhiana> ...well, I have things to eat...if you want.
* Rhiana comes down the stairs.
<Rachel> I'm coming. ^_- We don't want you to ravage him too early.
<Cody> Uh... We're going now? ^^;
* Rachel shakes her finger at Key.
* Cody is still under the blanket, trying to hide. ^^;
* Rhiana folds her arms, "So you're going with her instead?"
<Rachel> Yeh, why not. ;) 
<Keylia> Hoho... don't worry so much Rachel. ^_^
* Cody pulls the blanket off his head. "Okay. I'll come with you, if you don't mind." ^^;
* Meira makes a jump for Rahne, trying to hug her. "Morning! ...or... is it night? Anyway. You're up and it's a greeting!" =^^=
* Rhiana stretches, "Then I'll go back to sleep."
* Rahne, not being quite awake, falls over backwards! "I... wha...?" O_o
* Rachel prods Key gently in the side. "Of course I worry, someone hasta make sure you don't fall off the earth." ;)
* Meira lands on top Rahne, kitty tail swishing happily behind her. "I said morning Rahne!" =^^=
* Rahne sits up, her ears flat against her head, and teeth gritted. "It's the middle of the night." -_-
<Keylia> I'm sure I'm not going to fall off for quite some time... I'm still young! ;)
<Rachel> Obviously. ;) Anyway! Cody, you're coming? Awesome. ^_-
* Rahne is beginning to look miserable and dejected. "What's going on? Would someone tell me, please?" She sighs.
<Rhiana> Anyway...I guess I"ll be going to my room...
* Cody nods and waves. "Unless it's a problem." ^^;
* Meira sweatdrops a little. "Ok.. Middle of the night Rahne!" =^^=;;
<Cody> We're heading to the Black Market, Rahne.
<Rhiana> Be careful in the black market.
* Cody stands up. "If you want to come, that's fine..." ^^
* Keylia nods. "I know what I'm doing... but I'm worried Chrys is going to do something stupid."
<Rahne> Well... I'm kinda dead to the world... and I'm not really good with things like Black Markets, and things... I'd just be in the way...
<Rachel> Chrys? Do something stupid? Unheard of. ^_- Don't worry, we'll find your boytoy. 
* Cody looks down and blushes suddenly at the mention of Chrys, shuffling his feet.
<Cody> Chrys...he uh...
* Cody sighs and shakes his head.
<Meira> Naaaahh... nothing to be good at, walk around and buy things, it's shopping. =^^=
* Rachel blinks and looks at Cody. ^^;
<Cody> I think he might have stolen from me again... ^^;
* Cody blushes more.
<Rachel> God, what? ^^:
<Keylia> What this time?
* Cody blushes absolute crimson. "My...he took my...(quietly) underwear."
<Rachel> O_o Uhm?
<Cody> ^^;;; Nothing!
* Rachel shoots Keylia in amused look before looking at Cody.
* Meira kitty ears perk up, sensitive to sound you know. "He stole your underwear? GROSS!!!"
<Cody> ^^; I don't know why, either. It's not special underwear or anything.
<Cody> But let's go find him. ^^;;;
* Cody toddles out the door. ^^:
* Rhiana heads back up the stairs, "Don't forget about me...come back."
* Rachel laughs. ^^;
<Keylia> Don't worry Rhiana... we won't break anything. ;)
* Meira hops to her feet and pads out the door, turning to motion Rahne to follow
* Rachel feels her mood lighten considerably and motions for Key to go ahead of her!
<Rahne> No... I'll stay here... I'd just be in the way, and I don't want to draw any undue attention...
* Cody pops his head out the door, and waves to Rahne. "Okay...see you later...we'll be back." ^_^
* Rahne's tail swishes and she waves back. "Kay. Be safe." ^^
* Meira runs back in, trying to tug at Rahne's arm. "Come on.. I don't wanna be alone!" =^^=
<Rachel> Move it, commandoboy ;)
<Cody> ^^; Sorry...
* Cody walks back outside.
* Keylia sighs... ^^;
* Rahne looks to Meira. "You've got lots of companions to go with, Miss Cadence. You'll be fine without me."
<Keylia> Give the poor girl a break... she wants her beauty sleep, kitty. ;)
* Meira ears droop. "Okay... but, I'll try and bring you back something, ok?" =^^=
<Rachel> The joys of being a teamleader. ;)
* Rachel trots outside!
<GMStoren> Keylia walks out into the night air...
* Meira dashes out the door again, catching up with the rest
* Rahne goes and flops back down on a couch, tail sticking up at an ungainly angle. "Kay... sounds good..."
* Rahne passes out again.

- Kingdom of Pandora | Undine's Day, Night -

<GMStoren> The small group heads out into the still night... you can see almost the whole city is at a standstill. The stars twinkle on happily, knowing something that the world apparently does not.
* Cody looks up at the stars and nightlights of the city. " I've never been in a city at night like this..." ^^;
* Rachel crosses her arms as she wanders onward, starting to get nervous again.
<Cody> It's sort of quiet though...hey...Rachel? What's wrong?
<Keylia> Rachel, you going to be alright?
* Meira walks along, staring up at the sky for the most part, but occasionally looking around at the silent surroundings to make sure she doesn't bump into things.
<Rachel> Erm, yea...I'm fine...just...keep going...don't...uh... ^^;
* Rachel makes little shooing motions.
<Cody> You sure? *blinks*
<Keylia> I got your back girl. Don't worry. :)
* Keylia starts off down a street, for the west part of town...
* Cody follows Keylia. "Have you been to the Black Market before, Rachel?"
* Rachel grins faintly at Key before tugging her cape slightly up around her face, following Key. "Uhhh...no....I wasn't allo...I mean..."
* Rachel coughs. "I've never had the chance."
* Meira speaks to herself "Hmm... I wonder what I'll get tonight... maybe it'll be some nice clothes... or a weapon, or food!" =^^=
<Cody> Oh...Well, we'll see it for the first time together, then. ^^;
* Cody coughs and blushes. ^^:
<Rachel> I guess. ^_- 
* Keylia turns a corner, and slows a bit, whispering near Rachel. "Don't worry so much...we're outta here by morning anyway."
* Rachel blinks and nods a bit to Keylia, murmuring back. "Yeah, but even that's not soon enough..."
* Meira looks a bit puzzled "Say... what're we doing in the black market anyway?"
<Cody> Looking for Chrys. ^^;
* Meira sniffles, looking sad "Aww... no shopping?" =;_;=
<Cody> Well...what can you buy here? O_o I thought Black Markets usually sold stuff that was illegal.
<Rachel> You can buy women, Cody, if you want. ;)
<Meira> Well duh! That's why they're named black markets! They sell stuff you know... thus why it has market attached to the phrase. =^^=
<Keylia> Well... they do. but we're here to look for clues.
<Cody> Buy...buy women? O_O You're not serious!
* Rachel chuckles softly. ^^
<Cody> I could never do that! :/
* Meira raises her hands to her face, shaking her head side to side. "Iieee!! I hope they don't try to kidnap and sell me!"
* Rachel chews on her bottom lip a little, her gaze turning serious as she tunes out the others.
<Cody> Besides...I don't have any money. ^^; Not that I would! I wouldn't! :/ * * Cody shuts up because he's digging himself into a hole. ^^
<Keylia> Well, I'm not in the market for a sexy slave right now... ^_-
<Meira> You don't need money most of the time =^^=
<Keylia> Besides, I've got Chrys.
<GMStoren> Keylia follows the street, coming to a large house that seems way to brightly lit.
<Keylia> Hmm... I think this is where the passage is. The market's underground... I gotta see this. ^^
* Rachel raises her eyebrow faintly but doesn't say anything.
* Cody sticks close to Rachel, since the Market seems to scare her. ^^:
* Meira looks the house over, squinting a bit from the contrast in light from it's surroundings, not seeming worried or scared in the least.
<GMStoren> Keylia leads you up the path to a door set in the side of the building. She takes a deep breath, and calmly knocks. There's a short pause,  then the door opens a crack, a small man with a toothy grin looking at the group.
<GMStoren> [Man] Hoo... what's the password missy?
* Meira waves happily to him.
* Cody shrinks back from the man. O_o
* Heather gazes at the man warily, her hand drifting to the hilt of her sword...
<Keylia> Don't get any ideas... it's Luc, and you know it :)
<GMStoren> [Man] Do I ever... come on in!
* Cody waves timidly. "Yeah...uh...Luc. ^^; Hehe. Good. Uh..."
* Meira bounces happily. "Yay! We get to go shopping!"
<GMStoren> He opens the door, as you can see it leads to a tunnel under the building.
* Rachel nods and continues to keep her hand on the hilt of her sword. ^^;
<Keylia> The market should be just through here, but you gotta be careful, ok? Shopping's fine, just remember where it comes from. ;)
<Cody> ^^; I wonder what kind of herbs they sell here. Probably all narcotics. :/ Ugh.
* Meira nods, following Keylia "I know.. and I'll be careful!" =^^=
* Keylia descends into the basement tunnel, brushing aside the money grubbing old geezer.
* Cody follows Keylia.
<GMStoren> [Man] Hey, if you're looking for herbs... I have a sweet de.. Ouch. hey, how rude for a lady!
* Meira patpats the old man on the head with a smile.
<Cody> ^^; No thanks!
<GMStoren> The Man smiles at Meira, oogling her for a hearty moment. ;)
* Rachel stays quiet, her cloak draped over her head. ^^;
* Meira waves to him as she continues to follow.

- Pandoran, Black Market | Undine's Day, Nighttime -

<GMStoren> You walk a couple hundred feet, until eventually, the path winds upwards, out of the cement tunnel. And suddenly, you're placed in the mother of all flea markets. o_O Lights, people, colored banners... it's a virtual cacophony of trade.
<Cody> Wow...incredible! O_o
* Chrys is in a nearby stall, shouting out like an overly calm auctioneer. "C'mon, folks! Step riiight up! Right here's the one and only Mana Sword! The very thing that slew beast upon beast...NOW it can be yours for just 5000 luc! Or how about this, the one and only Chibiko Hammer! Party fun like you wouldn't believe as your friends are shrunk to half their size! Only 3000 luc!"
* Meira 's eyes light up. "Wooooowww! I can do a lot of shopping here!"
<GMStoren> You immediately pick out Chry's voice in the muddle. ^^
* Cody turns around to Chrys' voice. "Hey...isn't that...?"
<Rachel> Too bad he isn't selling your underwear, Cody. ;)
* Meira ears twitch, and turn toward Chrys, running up to his booth. "Are you serious?"
<Cody> Hmm... maybe I just misplaced it -_-;
<GMStoren> [Tough Guy] The Mana Sword huh?!
* Chrys grins. "Of course, little lady."
* Meira smiles "Can I see it?" =^^=
<GMStoren> [Tough Guy] 4000 Luc or nothing!
* Chrys looks up to the tough guy. "If you can't kill the first mana beast you see with it, you get double your money back."
* Cody wanders towards Chrys' voice, and tries to see what exactly he has out on the item table. ^^
* Chrys hmms. "4500."
<GMStoren> You hear another man dealing in fine linens, arguing with a few customers.
* Keylia wideyes. "Oh come ON."
<Rachel> Looks like your boytoy has a steady job, Key. ;)
* Chrys has a table which seems to be sporting quite a bit of weaponry, a few fine ceramics, and of course, a little squeaky-mallet looking thing.
<GMStoren> [Tough Guy] 4300 and I don't kill ya!
<Chrys> ...You drive a hard bargain, sir. 4300 it is.
* Meira motions to Chrys to lean in for a whisper "C'mere =^^="
<GMStoren> The hardy warrior slaps down the money and swipes the sword. ^^
* Cody tries to get a closer look at Chrys' 'Mana Sword', hiding behind the burly man.
<Chrys> Thank you, sir! Come again to Chrys' Chop Shop! ^-^
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] I assure you, this just came in... perfect camouflage for your work!
<Cody> (w) What does that tag say...? "Made in Tiwan?" O_o What?
* Meira waves her hands to get Chrys' attention. "Heeey! I want to tell you something!"
<GMStoren> Chrys catches a familiar piece of fabric out of the corner of his eye. ^^
* Chrys looks to Meira, and then tilts his head to the right, trying to notice something...
<GMStoren> [Wierd Man] But I don't need outer wear... I need unmentionables. :P
* Meira gets a sly grin on her face, leaning toward Chrys to whisper "I know that sword's fake... want me to go tell that big burly guy you cheated him?" =^^=
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] Oh, well then my sick friend, how about these lovely skivvies... hot off the streets! ^_-
<GMStoren> Cody sees HIS underwear for Sale! o_O
* Cody turns toward the Linen dealer, wondering... ^^;
<Cody> HEY! O_O
* Rachel laughs!
* Chrys blinks. "I'll be right with you, ma'am..."
* Cody rushes to the table. "Hey! Where did you get those!"
<GMStoren> [Wierd man] I don't want a guy's!! Panties or nothing!
<GMStoren> Cody knocks over the wierd fellow ^^
<Cody> Where did you get those! >:/
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] Wha.. uh.. what ever do you mean sir? I assure you my sources are all very credible!
* Meira puffs her cheeks in a cute frustration. "Don't ignore me!"
* Chrys shrugs and turns back to Meira, and then lowers his head a bit to get a better view. "What can I get ya, ma'am?"
* Keylia is really starting to wonder... ^^
<Cody> What are you TALKING about! You STOLE those from me! Don't deny it! And you put me in a really, REALLY embarrassing spot!
* Meira folds her arms under her chest. "I said, I'll go tell that man you sold the 'Mana Sword' to, that it's fake...."
<Chrys> ...Why?
<Chrys> What'd I do to you, babe?
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] Why I am a purveyor of fine goods! How rude! I'll have you know a lovely flaxen haired vixen sold these to me moments ago!
<Cody> What was her name?
* Chrys twitches as he hears those words, but quickly dismisses them.
* Meira waves a finger. "Nothing... but, I wont tell him if you give me the squeeky hammer." =^^="\
* Chrys hands the hammer to Meira. "Here ya go, miss. Free of charge." ^_-
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] I think she said it was Myria.n. she's well known here.. and a big supplier of mine!
* Chrys coughs and wideeyes.
* Meira smiles happily, and bop/squeeks it on Chrys' head. "Thank you!"
<Chrys> Now if you'll excuse me for a moment...
<Cody> Myria huh...? Great. Remind me to yell at her. -_-; And I'll take those!
* Cody picks up all his underwear! ^^;
* Chrys rushes over to Cody, grabbing the linen dealer. "WHO?!"
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] Why, she also dropped off this lovely thieving we-GACK!
<Cody> O_o Chrys!
* Meira follows Chrys, bopping all the people she passes, giggling cutely.
* Chrys twitches QUITE visibly. "And...WHY...are...my...CLOTHES...on...sale...?"
<Cody> O_o Those are yours?
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] It was Myria! She dropped off her latest shipment earlier tonight!
<Cody> I'm going to go kill that woman...! -_-;
* Chrys twitches worse then before. "Don't, Cody."
* Cody shakes his fist in a very non-threatening way. ^^;
<Chrys> ...Where...
<Chrys> Where is she...
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] She's long gone, Chrys... she's out for her next big fashion killing, no doubt..
<Cody> But she STOLE my underwear! Who would be sick enough to do that?
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] But why would she steal from you? You're a member!
<Chrys> Doesn't she KNOW it's against the code to steal from fellow members...?
* Meira repeatedly bop bops the Linen dealer cutely, making lots of squeaks. "You're a nasty man to sell nasty stained used underwear that a sweaty smelly man has used... Eeeeewwww!!"
<Chrys> ...She say where she got the stuff?
* Cody blushes. "I...I'm not sweaty! ^^;'
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] I didn't know Chrys... take it back... and sorry to your apprentice there! ^^;
<GMStoren> The merchant gets bopped x_X
<Cody> Apprentice...? O_o Hey! I'm...er... *sigh*
* Meira looks at Cody, not stopping her bopping. "Well not now you're not... but I bet you can't help it on hot days."
<Chrys> Not a problem (m to Cody) play along or we're gonna get our ass kicked (normal) Not a problem at all.
* Cody shrugs. "I...um...guess so Meria?" ^^;
* Keylia has started mingling with the crowd chatting with some men.. she promptly slaps one of em.
* Cody grins, almost...devilishly. "Oh yeah, but I'm not the apprentice. Chrys is." ^^
* Rachel blinks and watches Key through the crowd.
<Chrys> Okay...I'll not let out word of this, on one account, Hasim.
<GMStoren> [Linen Dealer] Miss, please stop damaging my money maker! ^^
* Chrys puts the linen dealer down. "I need some info."
* Cody blinks at the name. O_o
* Meira suddenly stops bopping the guy. "Meira's bored with this! I'm gonna go shopping at whatever's close to us." =^^=
<Cody> . o O ( So I'm not the only one stuck with that stupid name? What do you know...? ^_^ )
* Hasim dusts himself off. "Your associates are strange.. what do you need to know?"
<Chrys> Two things. Firstly, do you know where Myria's going to next?
* Cody looks around, wondering where Rachel ran off to.
<Hasim> I just know she took a ship out of town before nightfall.
* Rachel is sorta blending in, staying in the shadows...
<Hasim> And I think she mentioned Potos before..
* Meira shops around at close stores, trying to get the guys to give her stuff based on her looks and cuteness alone, sticking near the group so she doesn't get lost, drawing a bit of a crowd of onlookers at times.
* Chrys twitches. "Back to her old stomping grounds?"
<GMStoren> A few people throw money at Meira thinking she's an act. :)
* Chrys shrugs. "Anyways. Second. Nakano Takeda. I need to know everything you know about the name."
* Cody wanders around, rather aimlessly. ^^;
* Meira stuffs the money down her bra for lack of pockets and to draw more money. "Thank you! =^^="
* Cody then stops, hearing Chrys. ^^;
<Hasim> Ah, but Chrys, my friend... I don't know everything! The name doesn't strike me!
* Chrys shrugs. "Fair enough. Know any info-mongers in the market? I don't get out much, what with my being a vendor and all."
<Hasim> But I'm sure Khan Baybar would know... if you want to travel to Kakkara that is.
* Rachel drifts around the market, her hood clutched tight...
<Chrys> Kakkara, hmm...?
<Chrys> That's quite a bit away, but...if that's what it'll take...
<Cody> Kakkara...That's so far from here...-_-;
<GMStoren> >> Meira earns 50 Luc! :D
* Chrys nods. "Fine then. Tell the headsman that I'm taking a trip and won't be back for a while. He's free to rent out my stall."
* Meira bounces around the stores again, seeing what she can get for 50 luc, if she even needs to use it, zipping around in the background." =^^=
* Rachel stops at a stall filled with small trinkets, narrowing her eyes faintly as she examines the pieces...
* Cody stops where Rachel is. "See anything you like...?"
<Hasim> Is that so... going on a big sting? Bring me whatever fine textiles you might procure! 
* Rachel jumps and wideyes, flailing faintly before realizing that it's just Cody. "Uh! Jeez. You're so quiet. And not really, I'm just kinda attracted to shiny things."
<Chrys> Not a problem, Hasim...so long as you don't take any more unmentionables from Myria.
* Rachel casts him a wry look
* Meira bounces up next to Rachel, breasts full of her money. "Hello again!" =^^=
<GMStoren> A Neko steps out to regard Rachel... :)
