* Rachel nods and smiles softly, leaning back..
* Rahne turns crimson. * Uhm.. it's something about rocks.. ^^;
* Rachel chuckles. ;)
* Chrys chuckles as well.

* Rachel shakes her head and sits down, resting her chin in her hand. ^_-

* Cody looks down and blushes crimson.
* Rahne gasps, and her tail escapes from the shock! * Ack! Get your mind out of the gutter! Of course not!
* Rachel smiles softly. "Hey, Cody...he's just being a doofus.."
* Rahne stuffs her tail back under herself and sighs. * :/
<Chrys> Doofus? ^_^
* Chrys hides Rachel's bra behind his back and whistles innocently.
<Cody> Chrys...what are you holding?
* Rachel blinks and grabs a stick, slapping Chrys on the head with it!
<Chrys> Ow! ^^;
<Chrys> What?
<Rachel> I saw that, you perverted prankster!
<Chrys> ^^;
<Chrys> So?
<Cody> Oh my... ^^;
<Rachel> Give me that back!
<Chrys> You mean to say you didn't like it, Rache? ^_-
* Chrys hands her her undergarment back.
* Rahne shies away taking refuge near a tree.. *
* Rachel hmphs and grabs her bra. "Like what?!"
* Chrys chuckles. "I forgot. I'm the only one who thinks like that here."
* Cody just stands there sorta shocked. ^^;
<Cody> Uh...I guess I...should turn around...so Rachel...can put her bra back on? ^^;
<Cody> You turn around too, Chrys!

* Rachel looks pointedly at Chrys as she tugs off her tight upperbody suit...she slips her bra back on and tugs the suit back down..
* Chrys reaches over and taps Cody on his opposite shoulder...
<Cody> Yeah?
* Rachel smirks. "Nice try, Chrys. I'm done."
<Chrys> Damn. ^_-
* Rachel shakes her head and stretches.. "I swear...some guys..."
<Cody> I...I...
* Cody looks down.
<Chrys> ^_- Can't stand me, can ya Rache? ^_-
* Rahne watches the others from a safe distance, tail curled around to cover her sandaled feet as she hugs her knees. *
<Rahne> You're..
<Rachel> Ah...Cody... I didn't mean.. ^^;
<Cody> ^^; No no. It's all right.
* Rachel gazes pointedly at Chrys. "Do you want to become the first human pretzel?"
<Rahne> ..rather..
* Cody kneels by Rahne. "You all right?"
<Rahne> All things considered, yeah..
* Chrys pulls on his eyelid and sticks out his tongue. "You couldn't do it to me if the entire Pandora Guard couldn't. ;P
<Cody> Then why are you over here? Don't let Chrys bug you. :)
<Rachel> You have no idea, perv. ^_-
* Rachel turns and starts to scale the tree
<Chrys> heh.
<Rahne> But he's... If I stay here, it's less... *sighs* I dunno the words..
<Cody> It's okay...I mean...Rachel and I would never say anything to hurt you. :)
* Rachel perches on a branch nonchalantly, gazing out over the land..
* Rahne folds her ears back. * I dunno.. I don't imagine you would.. but.. :/
* Rachel looks down upon Rahne and Cody, eyebrow raising in amusement before she leans back, gazing at the sky..
<Cody> I never would to any of you...at least not intentionally. :)
<Cody> You're the only friends I have.
<Rahne> I'm just... *sighs*
* Cody hugs her. ^^
<Rahne> ...tongue tied, it seems. :/
<Cody> Rachel...why not come down? ^^:
* Rahne blushes, but hugs back, the tip of her tail playing happily over her toes. * ^^;
* Rachel blinks and hooks her legs into the branch, swooping down to hang from her knees from the branch, hanging upside down.
<Rahne> Less worry about balance on the ground. ^^;
* Rachel slips and falls on her head. ^^;
<Rahne> And the threat of gravity is practically alleviated. ^^
<Cody> Rachel! O_o
<Rahne> Ack! O_o Are you okay?
<Rachel> Gahhh! Well, I almost managed to do that right. ^^;
<Cody> Are you okay Rachel...? ^^;
* Rachel nods slowly, rubbing her neck. ^^;
<Cody> You could have been paralyzed...
<Rachel> Ah, I'm okay.. ^^; Don't worry 'bout me!
* Rachel wanders over beside Rahne and Cody, sitting down on the other side of Cody ;)
* Chrys hands Rachel a Candy ^_-
* Rachel blinks and eyes it. "Did you poison it?"
* Chrys blinks

<Rachel> Well, I've had it done before.. ^^;
* Cody blushes when Rachel sits by him. ^^
<Rahne> I like just sittin' here... it's quiet, kinda..
<Chrys> I don't know how to mix those sorts of things - that's more of Cody's forte, herbalism and whatnot.
<Cody> The Candy's fine, Rachel. ^^
* Rachel sniffs a bit at the candy and pops it into her mouth, chewing eagerly ^^;
<Chrys> Hell, I can't even mix peanut butter and jelly without screwing it up.
<Rachel> Mmm...good....gods, I really need to eat food more often. ^^;
<Cody> I can cook...sorta... ^^:
* Rachel chuckles. "I can catch game with my hands! It's not too easy...but.."
<Rahne> I'm an okay cook..
* Chrys blinks and scoots away from Rachel.
<Cody> I can fish... Sorta. My dad takes me fishing sometimes...
* Rachel grins at Chrys, making monster claw motions at him before flopping onto her back, going quiet at the direction the convo is taking
<Cody> Sometime...I'll have to take you back to my place. ^_^ My mom's the best cook I know!
<Rahne> Not really possible to fish back home.. I haven't tried to fish at the Palace.. I don't imagine Miss Luka is big into fishing.. ^^;
* Rachel closes her eyes, tilting her head back to reveal the scar on her neck. "I'm not too big on houses.."
<Cody> Oh...
* Rahne sighs.. * I miss home.. the warm winds.. the view..Jeopardy..
<Chrys> Home?
<Chrys> What's that? ^^;
<Cody> Where is home, Rahne?
* Rachel chuckles lowly.. "...Ah....home...yes, a wonderful place where the screams echo nightly and servants run screaming away in the opposite direction."
<Rahne> Mandala. It's pretty far north of here. High in the mountains. Kind of a hassle to get to and from, actually. Not too often folks travel either way too or from.
<Cody> Servants? O_o Rachel, where do you live?
<Chrys> Northtown, I'd expect. -_-
<Rahne> I'd feel embarrassed having servants. ^^; You must be rich though. No one in Mandala has servants, not even Master Joch. ^^;
* Rachel looks at Chrys and then at Cody.
* Rachel stands.. "I live...wherever my feet take me."
* Chrys laughs "And that's the way to live. You all know it. ^_^
<Cody> ...
<Rachel> I'm not rich...
* Cody looks incredibly depressed suddenly, and curls up into a ball. "Yeah...What a life..."
* Rachel blinks and rests a hand on Cody's shoulder briefly..
<Chrys> Rich is an awfully constrictive word, Rache.
<Cody> Huh?
<Rahne> Not as constrictive as some others.. :/
<Rachel> It's okay, Cody....
<Cody> Yeah...I guess..
* Chrys looks to Rahne "Like?"
* Rachel sits back down again and bumps her shoulders against Cody's own gently. "Hey..."
<Cody> No...Really...It's all right....
<Rahne> Alone.. :/ I don't imagine it get's more constrictive than that.
<Rachel> Maybe, maybe not...but I was just going to ask if you want me to teach you how to catch game with your hands. ;)
* Chrys closes his eyes and frowns. "The two words go hand in hand, Rahne."
<Cody> Catch...game? ^^;
<Cody> Sure... ^^
* Rahne looks down, nuzzling her knees.. * I'm not rich..
* Rachel grins. "I think you could manage it pretty well enough...could come in handy, too..."
<Chrys> ....Neither am I, Rahne.
* Rachel darkens..
<Cody> Yes...I suppose. :) Wild game for dinner...
* Rachel exhales softly and shakes it off, nodding to Cody! "Yeah....rabbit?"
<Chrys> .oO(Not any more. I left that life for something more worthwhile.)
<Rahne> I've speared Rabites before.. they taste kinda rubbery though... don't bring back Rabite. :/
<Cody> Rabbit is good. :)
<Rachel> The trick is to be able to distinguish the decent ones to the...well, rubbery tasting ones. ^^;
<Cody> Like how healthy they look, right? How meaty?
* Rachel nods. "Not only that...but...you should watch what plants they're eating as well...judging by the stuff in those plants, you can determine how the meat will taste.."
<Chrys> Bread's fine. ^_-
<Rahne> Stay away from the ones that eat rubber trees. ^^;
<Rachel> Ha ^_^ That's the spirit! ;)
<Cody> Heh! ^^; Okay Rahne...
* Rahne tail thumps happily on the ground for a sec, before she blushes and it stops. * ^^;
<Cody> No rubber trees...right!
* Rachel smiles faintly and rubs her neck..
<Cody> Rachel...you keep rubbing your neck...
* Chrys leans up against a tree and closes his eyes.
* Cody looks concerned. "You okay? Really?"
* Rachel looks at her hand, which is speckled with a thick red. ^^;
<Cody> Rachel! O_o
<Cody> Here...Sit down...let me look at it...
<Rachel> I just nicked it on something...really, it's okay..^^;
* Rahne 's ears snap up. * What's wrong?
<Chrys> Let Cody look at it, Rache.
* Rachel tenses noticeably.. "Ah...ah...I...uhm...o-okay.."
<Rahne> But... :/
<Cody> Don't worry...
* Rachel gingerly sits down in front of Cody.. "Uh..."
<Rahne> But.. :/
<Rachel> B-but what..? ^^;
* Chrys opens his eyes and look up "What, Rahne?"
* Rachel looks tensed and almost as if she's afraid ^^;
* Cody sits Rachel down gently. ^^;
* Rahne 's tail remains raised and seems cautionary.. * But it looks.. bad. :/
<Chrys> She'll be fine, with Cody's help. ^_^
<Chrys> I know, I've seen the stuff he can do..
* Cody passes his hands over the wound...but it doesn't hurt at all...in fact, Cody's probably the most gentle neck massager person you've had. ^^;
<Cody> Hmm...It'll need stitches...
<Cody> But let's see what I can do...
<Cody> Soil and green, mercy's touch, to life and soul, to breath and tears. I pray for thee...
* Cody closes his eyes, and his hands start to glow with a gentle green aura. He then reaches out with an open palm and gently touches Rachel's wounds, causing them
to mysteriously vanish, like a bad dream...
* Cody then pulls a bandage out of his bag, and puts it around Rachel's neck. "Good as new." ^_^
* Rachel twitches!
* Rahne looks on intently. * That's.. hmm.. really incredible!
<Cody> What? Did I hurt you?
<Rachel> N-no...I just have...this thing...about...uh....I mean....people...putting stuff around my neck.. ^^;
<Rachel> B-but thank you..
<Cody> You're welcome. I'm sorry I made you feel...uncomfortable...
<Rachel> No no...it's all right.. ^^; I'm just not used to...well..
<Cody> What?
* Rachel looks down and murmurs something before shrugging her shoulders.. "Thank you, Cody...I feel much better...you have a gift." :)
* Rahne chimes in, tail wagging. * An incredible gift!
<Chrys> ^_^ See? Told ya.
* Cody blushes. "No...No...It's nothing...really..."
* Rachel chuckles softly..
* Rahne quickly sits on her tail. * :/

<Rachel> Rahne...stop stifling that tail of yours..!
<Chrys> I thought I told you that your tail wasn't a problem. ^^;
<Rachel> It looks really...neat. ^^;
<Cody> But I like Rahne herself more than the tail. ^_^

* Rachel stands and heads back from the group a bit, sitting down at the base of the tree she fell from to observe the group.
<Chrys> Saying your tail is horrible is like saying that Cody's power is horrible, Rahne.
* Chrys notices Rachel is sitting right next to him ^^;

* Rachel blinks and notices Chrys. ;P
<Rahne> No.. he's got a wonderful talent. I just got a bum deal, no pun intended. :/

* Rachel forward rolls and ends up away from everyone! ^_-
<Rahne> It is... Joch would say so... so would Luka.. it's a beautiful thing.. you should be proud of it.

* Rachel scowls a little and flops onto her back, not looking at anyone.
<Rahne> No.. they shouldn't suffer.. it don't think it's their fault.. no burning..
<Chrys> It's not their fault for being born. I agree.
* Cody tries to change the subject. "Hey Rachel...maybe we can catch that game now? :)"
<Chrys> Their parents didn't pull out soon enough. -_-
* Chrys flops onto his back ala Rachel :P
* Rachel blinks and brightens a little, sitting up again. "Yeah?"
<Cody> Because...I see a Rabite over there! ^-^
<Chrys> Is it an eatin' one, or a stringy one, is the question, Cod'.
* Rachel nods and heads beside Cody.. "Yeah....does it look all right?"
<Cody> It looks plump and fat enough to me...It's eating weeds. ^^;
<Rachel> Hmm...nothing that spices won't fix. ;)
<Chrys> Watch out. It may bite. ^_-
<Rahne> You have spices out here?
<Cody> So...? ^^:
* Rachel smiles wryly at Cody. "If I chase it back towards you, will you catch it in your hands?"
<Cody> I think so. :)
<Rahne> So go for it.. I'll start a fire when you return, you valiant-types, you. * Tail wags, and Rahne blushes again.. *
* Rachel laughs and nods to Rahne.. "All right...sounds like a plan...c'mon, oh strong hunter man, you!"
* Cody laughs, and follows Rachel. "Ready when you are!"
* Rahne scurries off vanishing quietly into the undergrowth to find kindling.. *
* Chrys lies there staring at the sky.
* Rachel nods and positions Cody in front of a small pond... "All right...stay here...and catch it!"
<Cody> All right... ^^; I'm ready!
* Rachel winks at Cody and dashes off to the side, circling around the Rabite to come at it, driving it towards Cody with a loud whooping sound!
* Cody catches the Rabite quickly, as it wiggles in his hands! "Got it!"
* Rahne returns with a bunch of sticks, and after a brief moment has a small fire going.. *
<Rachel> Put it on the ground!
<Cody> I got it! I got it! I...Ahhhh! O_o
* Chrys sits up.
* Cody loses his footing and falls into the pond!
<Chrys> Rahne...
* Rachel blinks! "Oh gods!"
* Rahne turns an ear towards Chrys.. * Yes?
* Rachel skids to a stop at the pond's edge. "Cody?!" ^^;
* Cody burbles up from the surface of the water, holding a wet rabite... -_- The rabite seems to be laughing at him :D
* Chrys spontaneously hugs Rahne. "I didn't think I can relate to anyone other than Cody. As far as how I feel, I mean."
* Rachel twitches and offers Cody a hand. ^^; "You still have it, at least!"
* Cody takes it. ^^:
* Rachel hauls Cody out of the water too fast and he presses close to her in one of those touchy moments where they lock eyes briefly. ;)
* Rahne 's tail presses up against her back. * I uh.. ^^; Well.. I.. uh..
* Rachel then disengages, taking the Rabite. ^^;
* Rahne hugs back quickly before disentangling herself to tend to the fire. * ^^;
* Cody comes out, his hair all in his face and his shoes making squishing noises. ^^;
* Chrys realizes what he's doing and quickly lets go "I'm really REALLY sorry about that"
<Chrys> It just kinda came out! ^^; I didn't mean to scare you like that! ^^;
* Rachel chuckles lowly and easily breaks the Rabite's neck O_o
<Cody> Erk.. O_o
<Rahne> It's.. it's okay.. I uh.. it's okay.. ^^;
* Rachel blinks and looks up at Cody. ^^; "Sorry...should've warned you about that part."
<Cody> Well I figured you had to kill it...so... ^^;

* Rachel hands Cody the Rabite..!
<Cody> It's flopping in my hands...^^;
<Cody> Anyway...let's cook it! I'm starved.. :)
* Rachel nods..."Lets head back.."
* Rahne stokes up some ashes and tosses more wood onto her fire.. *
* Rachel trudges slightly ahead of Cody, heading back quickly to Rahne and Chrys..
<Cody> We've got dinner... ^^;
* Rahne 's tail wags. * Great. ^_^
<Rachel> Yeah...Cody caught it. ^_-
* Rachel hops up into her tree branch again, lounging on it..
<Rahne> Now comes the icky part though. ^^;

* Cody looks incredibly wet, btw. He's shivering a tad.
* Chrys takes out a knife "Want one of these?"
* Rachel blinks. "Cody...."
<Cody> Hmm? ^^;
* Rachel drops down off the branch, suddenly realizing what a blonde she's being. ;)
<Chrys> And Cody, dry out your clothes by the fire. ^^; Or if you're to embarrassed with these two lovely ladies here, just dry the shawl.
<Rahne> You look.. drenched.. :/ Need a blanket? We can hide you away in it while we get those sopping wet clothes dry again.
<Rachel> Take off those wet robes and get close to the fire..
<Cody> I...Uh...you're sure? ^^:

* Rachel nods...

* Rahne goes rooting through a tiny pack for a thick woolen blanket. *

* Rachel nods and tosses Chrys the Rabite...
* Cody walks to a tree to get changed. ^_^

<Rahne> I'm not really good at the icky gutting part anyways. :/

* Chrys proceeds to start skinning the poor thing.
* Rachel runs her fingers down the scar on her neck..
* Rahne's tail wags at the thought of gizzard. * No thank you. ^^;
* Rachel's stomach grumbles. ^^;

* Chrys looks at Rahne "Your eyes betray your mouth."

<Rahne> Trust me, I don't want gizzard.. and if something is betraying me, it's not my eyes. :/

* Rachel blinks and looks down at her feet.. "Huh! Why should I tell you my thoughts on him, Chrys...it's bordering on impolite.."
<Chrys> Does Cody turn you two ladies on or do I have to wait for you to come back from the first date? ;)
* Chrys proceeds to gut and de-bone the rabite, leaving just the meat ;_;
* Rachel rolls her eyes..
<Chrys> Oh, come on, Rache, You know you want in that shawl. ^_-
<Rahne> That's pretty... uhm... blunt..
* Rachel scowls at Chrys and something angry lurks in her eyes.. "Just...don't. Okay? Don't."

<Rahne> What I want, is my concern, and I haven't.. I just.. *sighs* It doesn't really matter, anyways.. :/

* Rachel stands and heads to the other side of her tree, away from everyone..
* Chrys sticks a chunk of meat on each of his daggers and proceeds to start a-roasting.
* Rachel sits down against the bark and gazes at the sky..
* Rahne spears the meaty little carcass with a sharp stick and sets it over the fire.. *
* Cody comes back out, his body wrapped up in a big woolen blanket and his hair down. (Much to his dismay, it's still a bit too wet to put back up.)
* Chrys tosses Rachel and Cody each a chunk-o-rabite.
* Cody blinks, and catches it without dropping his blanket. "Ah.."
* Rachel doesn't even notice, the rabite bouncing off her leg. ;P
<Cody> Thanks...
* Rahne takes Cody's wet clothes and sets them to dry near the fire.. *
* Chrys blinks "I think I pissed her off.
<Cody> Rachel? Something wrong? Or are you not hungry anymore?
* Rachel sighs.. "I'm...all right. I'm going for a walk. I'll be back.."
* Rachel stands and trots off..
<Chrys> I...know I pissed her off.
* Cody blinks in quiet confusion. "Rachel..?"
* Rahne frowns a little.. * :/

<Chrys> I started this whole mess.

* Chrys gets up, starts gnawing on a half-cooked piece of Rabite and walks off in the opposite direction.

* Rahne looks at Cody.. * I have no clue what just happened.. I'm not very good at understanding relationship things.. -_-;

* Cody sits by the fire, some of his blonde hair turning a bit wavy as it dries, and falling into his face. ^^:

<Cody> Yeah...What do you think of Chrys and Rachel, anyway? :) I think they're both really nice.

* Chrys calls out from off in the distance "I HEARD THAT!"

* Rachel is nowhere to be seen..
<Cody> Yeah...Rachel does have a lot of secrets...She seems troubled in some way...
* Rahne 's ears press down against her head.. *
* Rahne nods. *
<Rahne> It hurts not knowing how to help.. I feel bad just knowing I'm not helping. :/
<Cody> But I can't ask her about them. She has to tell me...and maybe one day she will. Then I can help her. :) But only then...and if she wants to, even...

<Cody> Hmm...Yes! Sage and Rosemary and Thyme. ^_^

* Rachel stretches and rolls onto her back, beside Cody but gazing up at the sky..

* Rachel 's body relaxes into Morpheus's hold as she drifts off to sleep, curled into herself..

* Rahne returns, finishes picking stuff up, putting things back, folding Cody's dried clothes, and sits on the other side of the fire, across from the other two. *

* Cody rummages through it, and pulls out a small flute.

* Cody puts the flute to his lips, and plays a soft, relaxing song... It's actually quite good. ^^:

<Rahne> They're close to the fire, so they should be fairly warm when you decide to put them on again. ^^;

* Cody lies on the ground, his eyes closed and his breathing soft, the blanket fallen down a bit, showing a bit of bare chest. ^^:
* Rahne smiles at him, tail silently swishing about, before sliding another piece of wood onto the fire, and stoking up the ashes. Taking a deep breath, she looks up at the stars in the northern sky, still smiling.. *
