Rachel Elizabeth Sundin Brodeur
Chosen of the Sword
Sword

Rachel Sundin

Appearance:

She is still prime at the age of twenty with a slim but naturally muscled body. Standing tall, Rachel reaches a height of 5'9 and weighs roughly 137 lbs when she's fully clothed in armor and gear. Her hair is cropped short like a boy's and is a chocolate brown shade, the same shade as her eyes. She wears a spandex like dark blue body long sheath which is covered by old steel armor. Around her waist is a sword belt which holds a sword with some notches in it from wear. She has a scar on her neck that will never fade, it looks like a knife slash.

Personality:

Rachel is an extrovert when she wants to be. The only time she becomes silent or withdrawn is when she is reminded of her past or is confronted about it. She generally tries to keep her past away from anyone she meets. However, approach her and talk to her and you'll find her a generally bright, exuberant woman. She has her weird, klutzy moments but they pass. She sometimes babbles when nervous.

Motivations/Goals:

Her main motivation is to hide from her past. Living on the road for the past year without any real assistance from towns or other people, eating by catching her own food and washing in streams... all prove she seeks to become her own person, unruled by anyone.

Rachel's Creed Background:

Rachel grew up in the thriving bustling city of Pandora. She was from an above working class family and considered faint nobility. The house of Sundin was one of many houses which carried 'nobility'. Sundin's nobility was granted from its trademark armor marking ability. Thus they have one factory which supplies armor for the whole town through dealers distributed throughout the world (such as that cat…you know, Neko.). However, these houses were lined in order of most important to least important. Sundin ranked three out of five on the importance scale. The most important was the house Brodeur, which ranked first with their amazing ability to make items such as candy, chocolate and various healing and restorative potions.

Thus Rachel's life was not very difficult until she became of age when thoughts turn to love and romance. Before that time, she spent her days being somewhat of a wild child. She would often get into mischievous trouble among merchants and important visitors to the house. Her spirit was wild, people would say, and uncontrollable.

But how did she get on the road, so far away from her noble home?

Updates:

  • After assisting Cody with the recuperation of Kippo, Rachel recieved a shock from the past as a mysterious nobleman named Kurik appeared with Khyros, claiming to be Rachel's husband. Though Flammie rescued Rachel and the others before things became violent, it was obvious by the words exchanged that it was not the last she would see of the one thing she fears.
  • In the conflict at the Light Palace, Rachel was yet again tortured and mocked by the possessive Kurik, while her friends were forced to do nothing but watch. As things escalated, he drew his knife in a jealous rage and delt her a fatal slice to the neck, causing Cody to snap and scar the nobleman's face in retailiation, forcing him to flee. Though he managed to save her life at great expense, Rachel knows Kurik will not quit so easy...
