Axe

Appearance:

Niki's appearance at first makes people think she is a really nice and cute kid. She likes to keep her hair in pigtails. She uses a green type of rubber band in her light brown hair to keep it in place. She wears an off white colored shirt that she bought from a merchant one day. Niki didn't like the sleeves of the shirt because they got in her way. She took a pair of scissors and cut the sleeves open. After doing so, Niki got pissed because the sleeves got in her way even more then they did before. To fix the problem she used a couple of green-jeweled clips and some purple leather string to tie-up the sleeves. Now the sleeves fit her perfectly with no problems. For her lower body, Niki wears a pair of brown shorts. Draped over her shirt and shorts is a pretty blue cloth that she bought because she liked the color. To hold the cloth in place, she used more green-jeweled clips and a purple sash that she tied around her waist. On her left wrist is a little plastic bracelet, which is colored green. Her calves are wrapped with brown-colored bandages. For her footwear, Niki wears brown leather boots with a couple green jewels on them. Niki also carries a pouch with her that holds her axe, and other items she carries. Niki is at the age of 12 and weighs 92 pounds. Her height is a petite 4 feet and 3 inches. Niki's eyes are a glimmering hazel color, which she loves to look at when she sees her reflection.

Personality:

To put it simply, Niki is a tomboy. She looks like a really nice kid, but can be a read pain. She thinks that she can do whatever she wants. If Niki wants something, she will ask for it. She will even use force to get what she wants. Niki is also afraid of the dark. It may be the only time you can see her cry. If you have ever seen Niki in a fight…you might say that she is a sadist, but she really isn't. Niki enjoys fighting and gets really happy when she does. With Niki, there is no in between. You either really like her or really hate her.

Motivations/Goals:

Niki's motivation in life is to pretty much do everything the opposite of what her parents taught her. This may be the reason she loves fighting since her parents hated fighting. Niki doesn't really have goals, just to have fun in life.

Background:

Niki was born into a wealthy family. Their house was located on the classy Golden Isle. Because Niki was brought up in the shiny city, she became afraid of the dark rather quickly. It almost seemed that the city of gold never got dark, but her parents took care of Niki when she was afraid. When Niki became 3 her parents started to treat her differently. Her parents brought up Niki to be very formal. Her life suddenly changed from that day. Everything was a lesson now. Niki was taught to drink properly, eat properly, and even to walk properly. She even had to wear a dress! Niki hated this life. She hated being controlled and forced to do things that she didn't want to do. It was like everything in life had to be done a certain way with no exceptions. Niki would often look at other kids playing and having a good time while she had to sit and take lessons. She wanted to go on adventures and explore the world. But alas, the front Gate was always locked. Niki would often run to a small hidden cave that was hidden in the meadow of their backyard. The cave was hidden next to a small lake in the backyard. In this cave, Niki would play little adventure games, which caused her to want to leave this house even more. Her parents never played with her when she wanted them to either. They were always to busy doing other "important matters" and never really noticed Niki when she played.

Around the age of six, Niki found out where how to open the front gates. She learned that the key to the front gate was in a drawer near the front door. The drawer was also carelessly unlocked. Because Niki was so afraid of the dark, she couldn't get herself to move and try to escape. Finally when Niki was seven years old, she forced herself to get out of bed and leave the mansion. During the night of Mana Holy Day, Niki took a lot of their parents' money and placed it in a pouch. She then quietly opened the drawer and took the gate key. Niki quietly slipped out of her old home and threw the key as far as she could towards the porch. She left the mansion without telling her parents anything. With the money that she took, Niki bought the shirt and shorts she wears. Niki hated how she looked. It was traditional. She borrowed a pair of scissors and cut open the sleeves. She hated this even more because the sleeves were in her way. Niki then bought all of those green-jeweled clips because green is one of her favorite colors. She used them to repair the sleeves the best she could. Afterwards, Niki bought a blue type of cloth and a purple sash to get rid of that traditional look. Niki bought an axe as well. She spent the rest of the money buying various things for her and eating. Niki took her old dress and threw it in the garbage instead of selling it. She didn't want anyone else to wear such an awful thing.

Five years have passed and Niki has been working at a lumber company. At first the owner didn't want her, but Niki got her way in the end. At first she could do almost nothing, but now she can just about toss at log over to where they belong. In her free time, Niki would practice with her axe. About a week ago the Manager of the lumber company fired Niki because of her attitude. The real reason was probably because Niki was stronger then he was. Of course Niki wasn't to thrilled about this and pretty much said she quit. With her new free time, Niki just travels practicing her axe skills and stealing from people because she has no money. Because of Niki's view towards life, she believes that she can do such things.
