*It's morning in Merbia. Zeppelin and Celes are inside the local Inn. They are planning to meet Vassago.
* Zeppelin` stretches after a good nights sleep.

* Celes wakes with a yawn as she hears Zepp calling her
* Celes rubs her eyes
<Zeppelin`> Heh heh, morning sunshine!
<Celes> Huh... wha?
<Celes> I'm hungry... is breakfeast ready?
* Celes motions for Zepp to turn the other way, before she gets out of bed
* Zeppelin` stands up. "Nah, let's go meet Vassago first!" His stonach growls. "Um...on second thought!"
* Zeppelin` doesn't turn away.
* Celes growls
<Zeppelin`> Are you coming?
<Celes> Get out so I can change!
* Zeppelin` laughs, slightly embarased and leaves the room.
* Celes changes as fast as a girl can and heads downstairs
* Zeppelin` waves Celes over to a table.
* Celes heads over to Zepp, taking a seat next to him
<Zeppelin`> I talked to the Inn keeper. He sayts he's gonna bring us something really good!
<Celes> o.O (rabbit?)
* Celes smiles at the thought
*** Vassago is now known as Inn_Keeper
* Inn_Keeper walks over with two plates. "Here you go! Eat up!"
* Celes looks down at the plate
<Zeppelin`> Huh?
<Celes> oh well, I like fish
<Zeppelin`> What? No rabbit?
* Celes squeezes a lemon slice in her hand, over the fish
<Celes> That's what I thought you had ordered too
* Celes smiles
<Celes> fish is ok though
* Celes digs in
<Zeppelin`> I guess so.
* Zeppelin` eats.
<Inn_Keeper> ...This is Merbia, home of the finest fish in Lunar. If it weren't for the fact that you're the black dragon hero like you said, you'd have to pay for all this.
* Zeppelin` smiles so that only Celes can see.
<Celes> No, no we can't let you do that
<Inn_Keeper> No, that's ok. Heros like you two should be well fed. I'm gald I could do it! Eat as much as you'd like. Sorry if there isn't that much though. Our supply has been getting strangely short for some reason.
* Celes digs into a pouch, pulling out two or three gold coins and hands them to the inn keeper
* Inn_Keeper won't except them
<Inn_Keeper> No no young lady. That's quite alright.
<Zeppelin`> Now Celes, let's not hurt this man's feelings by not accepting his hospitality.
* Celes sighs
* Inn_Keeper sees Celes.
<Celes> Well, thank you very much... we really apperciate it
<Inn_Keeper> Okay, I'll tell ya what!
<Inn_Keeper> You show me that sword that your husband keeps taking about, and I'll consider that payment enough.
<Celes> ...
* Celes looks down to the scabbard
* Celes sighs again to herself and pulls out the sword
* Celes sits it down on the table in front of the inn keeper
* Inn_Keeper looks at the sword and whistles.
<Inn_Keeper> It's just as amazing as all those stories I've heard say!
<Zeppelin`> See, I told ya so!
<Celes> ... It isn't that great...
<Celes> ... It's just a sword...
<Inn_Keeper> What are you talking about? Look at the thing!
* Zeppelin` grits his teeth, "...Celes!..."
<Celes> I guess it is well crafted, but...
<Inn_Keeper> But what? What's eatin ya kid?
* Zeppelin` sighs and keeps eating.
* Inn_Keeper sits across from them

* Celes looks back down to the food
* Zeppelin` finishes his food.

* Inn_Keeper shrugs

* Celes goes back to eating
* Inn_Keeper walks into the back kitchen.

<Zeppelin`> And what about old betsy there?

* Celes frowns

* Celes realizes it is still unsheathed and hastily puts it away

<Celes> I just am sick of all the fighting, just as you were at one time...

* Zeppelin` slams his fist on the table.

*Loud crashs and bangs are heard in the kitchen followed by a high pitched scream.

* Celes gets up and runs towards the kitchen
<Inn_Keeper> 6From inside the kitchen. 1GYAHA! So you're the thief! Get over here, I'll pop your head off of your furry little neck!

* Celes looks down to her robe
* Inn_Keeper comes out.
* Celes screams like she never has before

* Celes runs around the room

* Inn_Keeper hold a butcher knife in the air.

* Zeppelin` grabs the knife away and checks it out himself.
* Zeppelin` smiles.

* Zeppelin` winks at Celes so the Inn keeper can't see.
<Inn_Keeper> Oh, good then!
* Celes smiles back
* Inn_Keeper goes back into the kitchen to clean up.
* Zeppelin` picks up Celes and hurries her outside.
* Zeppelin` puts her down and yells at whatever it is in her robe.
<Zeppelin`> I can't believe you did that!
* Celes sweatdrops
*A small ball of blue fluf rolls out of Celes's robe.
* Celes makes sure Zepp isn't actually looking up her robe
<Azuro> You'd rather I got my head chopped off!?
* Celes stumbles back
<Celes> Az!
<Celes> that was you up my... er... that was you!
<Azuro> Sorry Celes, it as the first safe place I could see...BUT THEN YOU SCREAMED!
* Zeppelin` begins to laugh hysterically.

* Vassago talks from behind them

* Celes looks up as Vassago walks in

*The group explains.

* Azuro smiles then flys up onto Celes's shoulder.

<Azuro> North..somewhere around a shrine of Althena.
* Celes nods

<Celes> killed him...?!?!
<Azuro> Zophar's power just dropped a whole lot!

* Vassago turns away.

* Celes sighs, "I'm sorry Zepp... it is begginging to seem like old times again."

<Azuro> Shhh!

<Vassago> Figures, the punk monk got himself killed!
<Azuro> ...They're not dead. They teleported somewhere.
<Celes> where did they go?
<Azuro> It's hard to find Donovan now that he has the new power you told me about.
<Zeppelin`> Try Az!
<Celes> you mean the red dragon power?
<Celes> you should be able to identify him easier... I mean it is a dragon
<Azuro> No...the power that god promised him. He has it now, and he's using it.
<Celes> ...
<Azuro> Got him...It feels like the two powers are merging!

<Zeppelin`> Knew what?
<Celes> He is going to take over donny just like we did Zepp!
<Vassago> ...
<Celes> We have to go now... if we don't get there...
<Azuro> He's with Ghaleon...IN VANE!!!!
<Zeppelin`> WHAT? We have to hurry before he gets killed! The other dragons must be there too!

<Azuro> The other two dragons of Zophar. The ones that were killed. Remember them?

*Zeppelin` gets suddenly dizzy.

* Zepp`Delenius takes her hand. "My lady! How are you?"

* Vassago turns to them.

* Zepp`Delenius gathers the others, leaving Vassago "We don't have time to argue!" *and teleports into the square of Vane

<Azuro> Donovan...I can't feel his power anymore!
* Celes looks around as they appear in Vane

<Zepp`Delenius> "Young Raena is well however. But even I cannot sense Donovan anywhere!"

* Azuro nods.
<Azuro> I think so!

* Cloaked`Figure appears behind Zepp and kicks him in the back, knocking him clear across the square.
<Zepp`Delenius> WAAA!
* Celes runs to Zepp's side

* Zepp`Delenius hits the wall and is knocked out.
<Azuro> Hey, what the...?
* Cloaked`Figure smacks Azuro away.
* Azuro is unconcious.
* Celes kneels by Zepp, trying to heal him
* Cloaked`Figure throws a red ball of energy at Celes.
* Celes isn't looking and gets hit hard by the ball
<Cloaked`Figure> Why did you come here?
* Celes falls to the ground next to Zepp

* Cloaked`Figure walks over to Celes and stands between her and the others.
* Cloaked`Figure steps on her arm, keeping her from drawing her sword.
* Celes looks up at him, still laying on the ground, "where are our friends...?"
* Celes cringes from the pain of him on her arm
<Cloaked`Figure> Stay away from here!
<Celes> ...what did you do to my friends?
<Cloaked`Figure> ...They are together now!
* Cloaked`Figure smirks and takes his foot off stepping away.
<Celes> He can't do the same thing to donny he did to Zepp
<Celes> We are ready for him this time!
<Cloaked`Figure> You can't even handle that sword properly!...Or...have you learned?
* Celes shakes her head

<Celes> I have enough magical energy in me to destroy all of Vane

* Cloaked`Figure forms two smals balls of white energy in each of his hands and throws one at Az and the other at Zepp.

*Azuro and Zepp are healed, but still unconcious.

* Cloaked`Figure stares at her under his hood.
<Celes> Are you trying to be friendly now... changes sides as much as Vassago?

* Donovan walks over to her, ignoring the question.

* Donovan stops. He's saddened that she cringes so.

<Donovan> My hair was white and my hands were like claws! Even Reana cringed when I touched her. But not now!

* Celes motions towards the unconscious Zepp and her arm

* Donovan turns to one of the few buildings still standing. Fire grows around his hand and he throws a ball of red energy at the house, completely destroying it.
<Celes> You only make it worse...
<Donovan> I'm teaching you the greatest lesson you could possibley learn. It was the first lesson my master taught me...
* Donovan turns to her
<Celes> what is that supposed to be...?
* Donovan ignors the question.
<Donovan> You have more yet to learn! The lesson isn't over!...Attack me Celes! Attack with everything you have!
* Celes shakes her head
<Donovan> DO IT OR I SHALL KILL YOU MYSELF!!!
* Celes looks down at the ground
* Donovan holds his hand out at her.
<Celes> ...there are more important things to deal with...
* Donovan forms the fire around his hand again.
<Donovan> One last chance...ATTACK ME!
* Celes puts her hands out in front of her, staring him in the eyes
<Donovan> Do you think I can beat you with one blow?
* Celes makes a quick prayer to Althena and forms a translucent shimmering force field in front of her
*Donovan's eyes glow red. Black fire rises around Celes and eats away at the shield but not harming her.
<Donovan> Do you think you could beat me with one blow as well?
* Celes looks back down at the ground, "like I said... I won't fight you... it doesn't matter."
* Donovan walks over and holds his hand just an inch from her head.
<Donovan> Would you accept death if I gave it to you?
<Celes> ...
<Donovan> Choose wisely!
<Celes> I would never "accept" it from anyone...
* Donovan makes the fire go away and he places his hand gently on her head. Then he kneels down next to her with a smile.
<Donovan> You've learned the lesson! By rejecting and fighting death, you are stronger than those who fear it. "Only the strong survive!" That is the lesson! You are strong indeed Celes. You are truely the Dragonmaster.
<Celes> ...
<Celes> ...you mean you were testing me this whole time?
* Donovan nods and smiles. "I may look Vile, but I'm still Donovan Aleron. Nothing will ever change that...I told you I was going to train you!"
* Donovan winks.
* Celes slaps donny across the face
<Celes> you are just as bad as Zepp
* Celes sighs
* Celes cracks a smile, "now lets get going."
* Donovan rubs his face gingerly.
<Donovan> Ouch, I think you hit harder than that god!
<Donovan> We can't just yet!
* Celes chuckles

<Donovan> Well...Raena and I aren't through here yet!
<Donovan> Alot has happened since we've been sepperated!
<Celes> ...Raena, I forgot about her. Let's wait for the others to wake then go get her
<Donovan> We befriended Ghaleon and the dark Dragons. Raena's inside with them!
<Celes> lets go get her then
<Donovan> We can't leave here just yet. Ghaleon is doing some work for me!
