At the head of the cult is Queen Virtue, a wise and benevolent devotee who some refer to as the 'Mortal Goddess'. One of the many things she has done for the world is advance Technology forward.. as it now is an integral part of life in this new Age, and a testament to humanity's power. The people revere Athena, as even the old ways of the Goddess Festivals have been revived, thanks in part to the hero, Jean. In fact, the 100th installment of this tradition is fast approaching...

But... despite the peaceful atmosphere that hangs over the world, there are forces at work in the shadows. Some say there is a dark secret to how Vane floats in the skies once more... Of how magicians and even magic itself seems to be disappearing... Even the mighty dragons of Athena seem to be absent. Rumors in the church say that Queen Virtue has a grand plan for all of Lunar... and the time is approaching for the realization of that plan...
