Appearance/Personality:
Emili has beautiful white hair that extends below her neck, and she stands about 5’4. She is a very gifted girl, and at age 17 she is extremely curious about the world and why it is so different from what she thought it would be. She doesn’t understand why people wear certain clothing how why some people fight and kill others. She doesn’t understand how people fear or hate people different from them but she is determined to learn why.
Emili acts like any other normal person, most of the time, but she does some strange stuff every so often mainly do to curiosity. She loves clothes and has a large collection of beautiful dresses stored up in her home, however she never has put any of them on. But she has managed to create clothing with her powers and often attends parties... uninvited of course. She usually creates one-piece suits and a loose shirt-like dress, but it usually doesn’t last too long, which can end up with some real odd moments for the folks around her.
Emili knows right from wrong, but she doesn’t realize the picking up an item from a store and walking out with it is called stealing in the human world, and since she has no money, she usually does this at night, and has become quite good at stealth and stealing.
Background:
Sandra, the mother of Emili, had come to Vane to become a student of the guild, and learn the arts of magic and the balance of life. She was much older than the other students living there, but surprisingly, Sandra had already learned many useful tricks and spells before she even came.
Gregory, the father of Emili... no one knows his past or his origins, but he has lived in Vane for many years. He was a teacher in the school, and well liked, but many of the other teachers in the school could sense his dark aura and knew that he wasn’t all that he seemed to be. But what could they do? There was no exact proof on him, no crime committed, it seem he was just a dark man trying to avenge any dark sins he had committed in his past.
The two met in the halls of Vane and the soon became good friends and in a short time they fell in love with each other. After many years of learning the arts Sandra had become an excellent practitioner in the forces of magic and Gregory urged her to become a teacher like himself. She did, and soon became the most beloved teacher in the school. Every student wanted to be in her class, to be the apple of her eye. Sandra just smiled at the pupils and said that they were all the apple of her eye.
And after a year of teaching, Gregory and Sandra married. The first night that they shared they had conceived Emili.
No one knows what happened after that, but in the sixth month of pregnancy, Sandra fled from dark, sadistic demons led by none other than Gregory. She was quickly cornered in a forest not too far from the city of Meribia. Finally, Sandra revealed the one secret she had kept to herself during her years in the school. The one secret she never told anyone, not even to Gregory. She closed her eyes and in a bright flash of light, beautiful white wings grew from her back. In moments, her hands became claws and her face turned into the face of a creature one would rarely see... a dragon. Leaving her tattered clothes on the ground from her transformation, she flew high into the night sky and chanted a powerful spell, leaving a large crater in the forest ground, Gregory and his minions were no more.
Sandra knew her cover had been revealed, and she knew that Gregory could not be killed by her magic alone. She knew she couldn’t go to any city any more so she flew to a place high in the mountains, where there existed a large, wondrous forest, lush and green all year. It was here where Emili was born.
And so they two lived together in the secluded mountain forest, Sandra never bothered with clothing for herself or for Emili since they both could endure the weather quite easily. She never went down the mountain for food, and never allowed Emili to go either. All they needed was right here; they could get food from the deer and berries the grew on the mountain, they could drink the water from the waterfall. Of course when the two started out, Sandra had built a cabin and went down to a carpenter to purchase some furniture for it.
By the time Emili was eight years old, she had made many animal friends and she decided to hold a race between herself, a wolf and a deer. Her mother was the one referee to the whole game. As she shouted go the three darted off, the wolf was the first to gain the lead but Emili was quickly catching up. By the end of the race Emili had won, her friends parted after her victory. But when she returned to her cabin home where her mother was waiting, she was not there. Emili began to search for her, but unfortunately she still could not find her. Soon Emili went far deeper into the woods than she was ever allowed to go, or even went through at all.
Emili suddenly tripped over a large figure, when she got up, her body was covered her in blood. Suddenly Emili heard a laugh echoing through the woods, when she spotted the source she saw a tall man, covered in a large overcoat with flowing black hair... her father. Of course she was never told about her father and she screamed and cried with rage. But Gregory merely grabbed her, and hushed her quickly by giving a slap across the face. The last thing she could remember was gazing at her father.
The next thing she knew she was laying on her bed in the mountain cabin, beside her she found a book. Rather, it was a will... her mother’s will. It told her about the powers that Emili had, and it told her how to utilize her powers, how to create clothing, and make plants grow, how to move things with a simple thought, and how to cast powerful spells with a simple chant. It told her that she could leave her mountain home, but beware of other people around her...
Emili quickly began to learn the magic her mother left her and created clothing suitable for herself. However, she had to rest every so often otherwise her powers would fade and she would be unable to maintain her clothing, or do anything else. Since she never knew when her powers were fading until it was too late, which was often an annoyance to her, she began to train in weapon combat as a safeguard in case her powers died.
Afterwards Emili began to explore the world and soon forgot the entire accident; in fact, because of the curse she lost much of her memories with her mother, only remembering who she was and where she lived and everything that happened after the whole ordeal.
