Adam Dynastis
Virtue Knight, Sergeant - 13th Division

Adam Dynastis

Appearance/Personality:

Being at the age of 18, and standing at 5'7", he has a very strong build from being a Knight. He has misty snow blue eyes and white hair tired back into a long pony tail reaching half way down his back., though this is always coming down his shoulder to his chest. Also has very pretty boyish looks. Adam wears a royal blue tunic with gold trims having also the church's emblem in the middle of the tunic, and grey pants with glimmering metallic boots. Always carrying his bastard sword, as well as the standard steel alloy armor with the colors of gold and white.

Adam is a very rebellious kid, always wanting to do the opposite of what is told to him by his elders. Around his peers, he trys to be the one who is always confident in oneself as well as trys to be the one who always stays focus on the goal ahead...that doesn't mean he can't have fun while doing it. Adam is not very ok with taking orders in general, especially if he feels that it's not the right thing to do at the moment. Love is but myth to him, therefore the opposite sex would not attract him as much as other young men. He's very outgoing at times when danger is not lurking around the corner, but when trouble arises he's the first to put his life on the line for another. Sarcasm is also a great quality he has. :P He wants to prove to himself and especially Priestess Evol, that he doesn't need the church to stand on his own two feet.

Background:

Adam Dynastis

Like the priestess Ishtar, Adam was also an orphan brought into the church. Evol had found him abandoned somewhere near Ricuuli and being the caring person she was, took him into the fold. He was taught the ways of Virtue, though having no real parent figure in his life but Evol, who to him is like the mother he never had. He grew up healthy, and it wasn't long before that he got trained to become a Holy Knight under Zlyk.

As time went on he came to question how much of his character was his own and the church's, considering without them he would have still been alone and lost without a direction in life. Is the direction that the church gave to him..."his" direction? Evol, caring for Adam like a son did not want him to go out into the world. She always tried to convince him that the church is the way, and that the path he is going in, is the 'right' one.

It came to a point where he finally decided that in order to stop the questioning, he had to prove it to Evol and most importantly to himself that he was a man that can stand on his own without the church's crutch. He took a leave of absence from the guard several months back,, and Evol hasn't heard of him since.

As of Chapter 17... Adam's cadre of Knights met the party upon the open seas before Zaback, and in the conflict that ensued Ishtar took a shot from the VSS Epiphany's cannon to protect the SS Siren. It was this display and also Virtue's direct order that convinced him to begrudgingly stand down and allow the party passage. It remains to be seen when he will show up again, but considering they all seem to be after the Fang, it will be soon...
As of Chapter 19... When attempting to spring a surprise sting on the entire group assembled at Diamond Dreams and nab the Fang, Adam lost his entire regiment and nearly his own life in Ramon's bitter betrayal. Burdened with this great loss of life, what doubts does he have about duty?
