Althena's Shrine, Meribia

<TheStoryteller> The 100th annual Goddess Festival is practically around the corner, as the time has flown by in the world of Lunar. Everyone from Reza to the high tech city of Meribia was going to be at the annual Announcement for the Festival, which was going to be held at the Althena's Shrine near Meribia.
<TheStoryteller> The entrance to the Shrine was practically impossible to get through, as thousands of Lunarians were trying to all enter and hear Lunar's one and only 'Mortal Goddess', as they call her. Queen Virtue was what she really answered by. It has been said that she has lived for nearly a century, though her body never ages.
<TheStoryteller> As more and more citizens entered the Shrine, there was less space for others to fit in. Now don't think that to enter the shrine just to merely hear an announcement would be free... the price of entrance was 50 silver per person. The doors opened at sunrise and would close when the tickets have been sold out. The line just to buy them circled the shrine nearly three times.
<TheStoryteller> As more and more citizens entered the Shrine, there was less space for others to fit in. Now don't think that to enter the shrine just to merely hear an announcement would be free. <TheStoryteller> The ticket seller was rather hefty looking man with a black beard that would scare any child. He stood over 6 feet tall and wore a priestly robe, as was the attire necessary to enter the shrine.

Althena's Shrine, Foyer

<TheStoryteller> Scott and Emili stood at the entrance, waiting in line with all the others.
* Emili grumbles and whines.
<Emili> BORING!
<Emili> BORING!
<Emili> BORING!
<Emili> I'm hungry!
<Scott> That's the truth. To think this is supposed to be my day off.
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] May I see both of your tickets?
<Scott> Ticket? I'm the representative from Vane.
* Scott shows the seller his ticket.
* Emili pulls out her nice, neat little ticket.
<Emili> See?
<Emili> My ticket!
<Emili> Got it for free!
<TheStoryteller> The man takes their tickets and rips them up in two pieces and throws one half of the piece into the garbage, and the other half he gives back to them.
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] Fine, you two may enter, your seats are front row, seats A and B.
* Scott wanders in, trying to escape Emili. .oO(This kid is really getting to me.)
* Emili pulls out her stick and baps the guy over the head. "Why did you tear my ticket up!"
* Emili looks mad.

Althena's Shrine, Outside

<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] Sorry ladies and gentlemen, but we are sold out!
<TheStoryteller> With that said four citizens come running up towards the door.
<Tahn> Damnit! You sure?!
* Leon looks at the door ominously.
<Jack> Hey Ticket guy......Cool beard.
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] Why thank you..we're sold out though.
<Jack> Sure thing...no prob.
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] No ticket means no entrance!
<Tahn> ...Listen. You aren't sold out.
<Tahn> You just don't have any more seats.
<Tahn> We can stand. It's not a problem. Just let us in.
<Leon> ...
<Tahn> We can pay...
<TheStoryteller> The man ignores the four as he then notices that Bree has a shiny ticket in her hand.
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] Can I see that, miss?
* Bree waves it in the air, handing ot towards him, "Sure.. gotta hand it to you anyway.. right?"
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] Well, why didn't you tell me you had front row seats in the first place?!
<Jack> We did?
<Leon> Just open the damn door.
<Tahn> You didn't ask.
<TheStoryteller> [Ticket Seller] Sure sure, step right in, you all go to seats D, E, F, and G.. front row of course. =)
<Tahn> :)
<Jack> Well...I'm not looking this gift horse in the mouth....
* Leon walks in, alone...almost like he's not part of the group
* Jack strolls on in.

Althena's Shrine, Antechamber

<TheStoryteller> You four step in through the huge double doors and notice the shrine is jam packed. The heat inside is almost unbearable, but no one cares, as this is the annual "announcement".
* Tahn mumbles something about phantoms..
* Bree grins, looking around, seeing it as an opportunity.
* Leon sits down in his seat.
<TheStoryteller> You four take your seats, as you see three in the same row as you.
<Leon> ...
* Emili grumbles.
* Tahn sits down next to Bree.
<Jack> Pretty place....I should craft a model....
<Emili> It's HOT!!!
* Tahn looks over to Jack. "With what?"
<Scott> Yeah..it is.
* Leon looks over Emili. "Shut up."
<Bree> Don't you get any funny ideas..
* Emili pulls out her stick and whaps Leon on the head. "No! Meanie!"
* Tahn looks at the two oddly.
* Jack to Tahn. "Metal things, and such...I could do it if forged right."
<TheStoryteller> Front row seat C is also occupied by someone none of you have seen or heard of yet. A young priestess sitting down, all quiet and paying attention to...nothing. She looks peaceful as an angel, as she looks at the two next to her, and at the four on her other side. She just smiles.
* Leon pulls out one of his guns and puts it on Emili's nose. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't blow your head to the Blue Star right now!"
<Tahn> Yeah. If you forged it right and had 80 more years to spare of life.
<Bree> Because you're on holy ground?
<TheStoryteller> She goes to cross her legs as her half of the ticket falls on the ground next to Leon's feet.
<Tahn> Leon.
<Tahn> Down boy.
* Scott shows Leon a fireball. "Because if you do, you will be cooked, pal."
* Emili looks at the gun and beams instantly, snatching the gun right out of Leon's hand.
<Emili> Wooo!
<Jack> Who said I was going to make a tall model?
<Emili> What's this?
* Emili looks at the gun curiously.
* Leon pull out another gun shoves it Scott's face. "No one pulled your chain. Sit down."
<Tahn> Uh...
<Jack> Just small trinkets. Little things. Just for fun.
* Emili points the gun on Leon. "What is this? How do you work it?"
* Scott pulls out his sword. "Don't make me use this, pal. I am attached to the first regiment of the Magic Guard, and don't want to kill you, but I will if I have to."
* Tahn picks up the ticket, due to the fact Leon is occupied. :P
* Sumire looks down, sweatdrops, and bends over to pick the ticket up.
* Leon looks at Emili, and pulls his guns down. "Nevermind..."
<Jack> What's with the ticket?
* Tahn pokes the odd priestess's shoulder. "Excuse me.. you seem to have dropped this.."
<Emili> Umm... kay.
<TheStoryteller> Tahn and Sumire both bend over to pick the ticket up, and they bump heads.
* Scott sheathes his sword.
<Emili> Hey umm... you want your doo-hickey back?
<Tahn> Ow.
<Sumire> Ouch! *rubs her head* Excuse me, I'm sorry..
<Tahn> N..not a problem. ^^;
<Leon> ...
<Emili> Hey person? Do you?
* Bree just sits there.. not knowing who's around her.. what she's doing, or where the hell anyone else is.. ^^;
<Scott> Which person?
* Leon looks over at Emili. "What do you want now?"
<Emili> If you don't want it, I'll keep it!
<Sumire> Um, please, I would like it back..
* Jack pats Bree on the shoulder. "Don't worry. Just act natural"
<Leon> Keep what?
<Tahn> Oh... sorry... Here ^^;
<Scott> I think she means your firearm.
* Emili holds out Leon's gun. "Your doo-hickey."
* Tahn gives the ticket back to Sumire.
<TheStoryteller> The sound of clapping deafens all other noise especially the noise in the FRONT row. Everyone stands up. You all do as well, wondering why, as you then look to the center stage.
<Tahn> Ow!
<Leon> ...oh.
* Bree raises an eyebrow at Jack. "Just because we're in tight quarters.. doesn't mean you get to touch me..."
<Sumire> Thank you. ^^ *stands, looking* This must be the main event..
* Tahn tries to sit up abruptly and bashes his head on one of Leon's guns.
<Jack> Oh, oh...Sorry....terribly...
* Emili yells. "Why are we clapping?"
<Tahn> Ow again!
* Leon grabs the gun. "You shouldn't play with these. You could get hurt."
<TheStoryteller> The trumpets start to sound, as right in front of them sitting behind the altar are none other than the four holiest people in all of Lunar. Archbishop Sinel and his lovely wife the Priestess Evol, to her left is Chancellor Kashier "Cash" Ausa, and in front of them is the Mortal Goddess herself... Queen Virtue.
* Scott stands. "What now?"
* Tahn sits up slowly this time.
* Sumire gets starry-eyed! "How beautiful she is.."
* Leon doesn't say anything.
<Emili> Who's that?
<TheStoryteller> Her long wavy blue hair touches the ground in which she stands on, as she is garbed in a blood red robe. She looks at the audience who's attending the shrine and raises her arms at them, as they all stand.
<Jack> Hmm...Interesting. So when does this kabuki play start?
<Bree> .oO( I wonder what sort of things they have in their pockets... )
* Leon stays in his seat...just to tick people off.
* Tahn stands, bows, and sits back down.
* Emili decides to walk up to the center stage and ask who the Queen is.
* Tahn sweatdrops.
* Scott rolls his eyes.
<Emili> Hey umm!
<Emili> Person!
<Virtue> The light of Althena will forever give us our peace!
* Leon grabs Emili. "Don't. That would not be wise."
<Jack> ~_'
<Scott> Not another long drawn out speech. Kash is always one to put us all to sleep.
<TheStoryteller> [Crowd] ...And our love to Althena will forever give her happiness!
<Storen> [Usher Knight] *blocks Emili* Please return to your seat, miss. Until the Announcement is over.
<Emili> Hey! Let me go! I wanna ask who that person is!
* Bree looks around for any close victims... ^^
* Emili fumes. "Fine! I'll ask her later!"
<Jack> Don't even look at me, Bree....
* Emili goes back to her seat and sits down.
<TheStoryteller> The Queen lowers her arms back down as they all sit once again. She notices the rather noisy front row and just nods her head, as if to tell them to shush.
<Jack> Oop, Sorry ma'am...
<Virtue> Welcome citizens young and old alike, to the second most anticipated event of the year, the Festival's Announcement! As well as you all know, our Goddess Althena spreads her words and teachings through me, as she has chosen me to be her advocate. And through me, I have made this world, this ever so holy world, a better place for all of us to live on.
* Bree grins and gives the victory sign. "Why would I?"
<Leon> Miss, you would do best to sit down for now. Questions you have should be answered later.
<Leon> Waitasec..what in the hell am I doing...do what you want..I don't care...
<Scott> Hoo boy. And in the last year the Guard's seen no action. We used to be the best peacekeepers in the world.
* Leon gives the Queen the finger.
* Jack doesn't know how to react.
<Virtue> It has been 100 years since this world has seen Althena's power. It was through Lucia she saved the world, as it is now through me. 'How may we give her thanks for all that she has done for us?' you may ask yourself.. for I have asked myself that same question every day of my existence.
* Emili scratches her head and looks totally lost.
<Virtue> We already do as much as we can to give her our thanks, we give her offerings, we practically gave up the use of magic for her, we even give up the power of free will. All these things may sound of importance to many of you, but in the long run it all has worked out...
<Tahn>
<m> The chances of her being Althena incarnate...
* Leon looks uneasy in his seat..this is boring.
* Emili calls out to the Queen. "Ummm.... What are you talking about?"
* Bree mumbles. "Now I know why I was never a religious person.."
<Virtue> You answer me... when was the last time any of you have seen a monster, when was the last time you have seen or even heard of a murder? I'll tell you when...100 years ago. In a matter of weeks, the 100th anniversary of the last appearance of the Goddess to Lunar will be celebrated...
<Scott> By Althena herself. That woman's more long winded than Kash.
<Tahn>
<m> 100 years ago my ass. 3 days ago. That Lane fellow bit off more than he could chew..
<Virtue> .. And I promise to you all, that in this years location, Meribia, I will bring back...the Goddess Althena to ours, and her world of Lunar!
<TheStoryteller> The whole crowd starts to whisper, as they are in shock at the announcement.
<Emili> 100 years ago? Hey! I was born 100 years ago! =D =D...... I think.....
<Emili> I forget!
* Jack whips out a pillow and gets comfortable.
<Scott> O_O; Revive Althena? That's not gonna be an easy job.
* Tahn looks at Jack and smirks slightly.
<Tahn> Evangelists. Bah.
<Virtue> The price for the festival this year will be an extrodinarly huge amount. For we will need all the silver we can muster to make this wish come true.
<Scott> This is rediculous.
<Leon> This is a buncha shit if I've ever heard it.
<Virtue> All of you in here today, will have free entrances into the festival. If you look at your arm rest, there is a button. Pressing it will, atom by atom, make a ticket for you to enter.
* Jack grins back. "Gotta keep the humor..."
* Bree just looks around, spotting the wealthy not really interested in what she's saying.
<Bree> Ooh.. *presses the button*
* Emili pushes the button hundreds of times over.
* Leon pushes the button.
* Jess presses the button.
<TheStoryteller> You all then press the button as a golden ticket starts to atomize right in front of your very eyes.
* Tahn, half asleep, accidentially hits the button.
<Leon> ...
* Emili pushes the button some more just to get more gold tickets.
<Emili> Oooh!
<Emili> This is fun! ^_^
* Jack presses button....The seat reclines instead. "Oohh..."
* Emili keeps pushing the button.
<Bree> Hey.. I wonder if I can make a bunch.. *presses it over and over after taking the ticket*
<Jack> Ho...Silly me...wrong button. *presses it*
* Leon looks at Emili.. o O (What an odd woman.)
<TheStoryteller> A scream is then heard throughout the shrine.
* Bree grins inside, thinking of the scalping value.
<Scott> O_o I'm going to check that out.
* Emili keeps getting as many of the tickets she can and stuffs them inside her little pouch.
* Bree looks around. "Eh? Someone press a wrong button?"
<TheStoryteller> It seems as no one heard the scream but you seven.
* Scott runs toward the sound of the scream.
* Leon hasn't moved.
* Emili stands bolt upright and follows after Scott.
<Emili> Hey wait up, Scott!
<TheStoryteller> The Queen notices you all start to look around, as she for some reason stops talking and eyes you all.
<Emili> Wait for me!
<Tahn> What the..
* Jack is confused....
* Emili starts running like a blur catching up with Scott in no time at all.
<Virtue> Someone stop these fools, they are making a game out of this announcement!
<TheStoryteller> The scream gets louder and louder.
<Tahn> Uh.. pardon us, mortal Goddess, there seems to be some trouble outside. *breaks for the door*
<Bree> Eh? Nono.. I was enjoying the speach... just.. that scream...
<Leon> Someone shut that scream up. It's annoying.
<Scott> What is that scream?
<TheStoryteller> The door seems to be blocked by the guards.
<Tahn> Uh... Hi.
<Leon> Fine, I'll do it my damn self.
* Scott draws his sword. "Get out of my way, by the authority of the Magic Guard of Vane, I am going through."
* Emili pulls out her stick and knocks the guards on the head.
<Tahn> Can I be let through so I can...uh.. use the bathroom? ^_~
<TheStoryteller> [Man in Audience] No one here heard a scream but you people! Now shut up!
* Leon storms to the door.
* Jack stays put, enjoying his pillow.
* Leon look at the man and pops him in the head with a bullet.
* Bree sinks down. "Hai hai... I'll shut up.. soorrreeeee!"
<TheStoryteller> The Queen then jumps as another scream is heard, she heard it as well it seems.
* Emili looks around.
<Emili> Where is the screams coming from?
* Leon looks at the the Queen and fires a bullet at her too.
<Scott> I am a Knight attached to the first division. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!
<Storen> [Guard] Noone is to leave until the Announcement is conclu.. *looks around as Leon's the bullet barely misses him*
* Tahn pushes through at that moment.
<Jack> Geez Leo, is that your answer to everything?
<TheStoryteller> The bullet shot towards Virtue goes lightning fast but stops dead right in front of her face. It then falls on the floor harmlessly.
<Virtue> INFIDELS!
* Emili whaps Leon over the head.
<Leon> Well that was pointless.
<Tahn> Shit!
<Emili> Now you make her mad!
<Tahn> You IDIOT!!!!!
<Emili> Dumb dumb!
* Bree blinks. "Who shot..?" She looks around dumbly.
<Tahn> WHY THE HELL DID YOU SHOOT HER, YOU DUMBASS?!
<Leon> Grrr, stop hitting me over the head with that stick, or they will never find your body!
<TheStoryteller> The guards run up to you, surrounding you all.
<Emili> What do you mean?
* Jack puts his head down... "Some people..."
<Scott> Not good.
* Emili looks at the guards.
<Tahn> Shit.
<Emili> Hee hee...
<Emili> Bye!
<Tahn> You goddess damned idiot.
<TheStoryteller> [Guard 1] You infidels will now pay for what you have tried tonight!
* Emili flies upward!
<Tahn> O_o
* Tahn sees Emili fly upward and facefaults.
<Tahn> o_O
* Bree waves her hands. "Hey! I didn't so a thing.. I was just sitting here.. don't blame me for who I sit next to..."
* Leon raises an eyebrow.
<Scott> What in the hell are you talking about? I am a Knight attached to the 1st Division. Get out of my way or you will die by my hands, pal.
<Storen> [Guard 2] How dare you attack the Queen! Prepare to be taken into custody... if you value your lives, don't resist.
* Emili usheathes her wings (and with it her clothes) and flies up to the roof.
<Leon> She talks too damn much. I can't help it if she's annoying.
<Tahn> O_O
<Virtue> The legend is true, the legend of the infidels that will bring the church down and help Zophar once again revive himself.. are here, this very day!
* Jack rolls eyes and sighs...
<Tahn> Zophar! What?!
<Virtue> Guards...attack!
<Leon> See, look at her running off at the mouth. She needs to be killed.
<Scott> I don't like the sound of this.
* Emili from the ceilling. "Who's Zophar? A clown?"
<Jack> Aw C'mon! I hadn't eaten yet!
<Scott> Zophar tried to destroy this world a century ago.
<Tahn> Well... Sumire, other two people... looks like we'll have to work together on this.
<Scott> Looks like it.
<Jack> Hmm....I think I might remember that story....
* Tahn whips out his daggers and tries to jump as far back from the guards as possible.
<Leon> This won't take long.

COMBAT!

<Storen> >> Combat Round 1!
<Storen> >> The party is surrounded!
<Storen> >> Enemy: Guard A, B, C

<Bree> Great.. thanks to you guys I'm stuck fighting for something I didn't do.. *sighs*
<Jack> You're blaming me, Bree?
<Bree> Hey.. some one shot...
<TheStoryteller> Emili sees her friends in trouble, as she then gets shot by a powerful blast of energy from somewhere.
<TheStoryteller> Emili is grounded!
* Jack takes back row.
* Emili wails.
<Emili> Waaah!
* Emili falls to the ground with a thud.
* Leon looks at Emili. "I bet that hurt."
* Emili gets up and takes her stick out. "Oooh! I'll get you!"
* Emili flexes her wings and gets ready to attack.
<Storen> >> Bree's turn.
* Bree tries disarming Guard A.
<Storen> >> Bree attempts to Disarm Guard A.. but she fails.
<Bree> Not like I'm gonna harm you guys.. I didn't do a thing!
<Storen> >> Scott's turn.
* Scott closes his eyes as he chants. "Powers of the stars, show me my enemy's intentions, WARNING!" He opens his eyes and they shine brighter than the brightest star.
<Storen> >> Scott casts Warning! Dodge % is increased by 14!
<Storen> >> Guard A rushes at Scott...
* Scott draws his sword and readies himself to strike, holding his free arm out to his side, parallel to his sword, which he is aiming at his enemy. He takes a wide stance and uses his free arm to act as a guide for the sword.
<Storen> >> Guard A missed!
<Storen> >> Guard B slashes heavily at Leon with his sword..
* Leon raises an eyebrow.
<Storen> >> Leon takes 4 damage..
<Sumire> I...I...I can't believe what you all got me into!
<Tahn> Sorry, lass.... I didn't know it would happen. *baps Leon*
<Storen> >> Guard C raises his shield and smacks Tahn in the face with it..
<Storen> >> Tahn takes 10 damage. ^^
<Tahn> Agh!
<Leon> Tahn, if you touch me again, I'll kill you where you stand.
* Bree stares at Emili, eye twitching. "Ehehe.. she's not shy.. that's for sure..."
<Tahn> You'll pay for that, fucker.
<Storen> >> Tahn's turn.
* Tahn channels wind magic into a dagger and leaps far enough from Guard C to chuck a wind-powered dagger at him.
<Storen> >> Tahn uses Dagger Toss! Guard C gets a dagger right in his side! 32 damage!
<TheStoryteller> The Queen seems to be enjoying the battle from afar, as she then notices Emili's wings.
* Jack looks at Emili. "....Nice Wings"
* Leon notices Emili. "You should cover up..."
<Virtue> Goddess, she reminds me of Valhalla..
<Scott> I have a better idea...
* Emili looks at Leon. "Umm, why?"
* Scott sheathes his sword as a blue aura surrounds him.
<Leon> Because you're naked.
<TheStoryteller> The Queen is in awe of Emili, she quickly points her out to Captain Zlyk.
* Tahn is uh...admiring Emili for a few seconds, and then slaps himself out of it.
<Emili> Oh, wait, right. People don't like to see people without clothes.
<Storen> >> Emili's turn.
* Emili glares at the enemy, poised and ready, her muscles tense and seem to get bigger, a loud roar of a dragon can be heard somewhere....
<Storen> >> Emili uses Dragon Vigor! Her Attack rises by 23!
<Bree> Doesn't bother me.. but it does draw attention....
<Leon> It's not that the men aren't enjoying seeing you naked. I'm telling you for your own protection.
<Emili> Protection?
* Emili looks at Leon.
<Leon> What?
<Emili> You.... weird!
<Storen> >> Jack's turn.
* Jack takes no chances. he pulls out a dried herb and uses it.
<Storen> >> Jack uses a Dried Herb.. he is restored to max HP.
<Leon> ...whatever.
<Emili> I fight very well!
<Emili> Watch!
<Emili> I'll kick some tail!
<Leon> I don't care how you fight.
<Scott> Stay sharp, folks. These guys are deadly.
* Emili stretches her wings and slaps Leon in the back with one of them.
<Emili> Go get them!
<Leon> ...
<Scott> Nowhere near the caliber of my constituents in the Magic Guard, but good none the less.
<Storen> [Guard A] Silence.. you don't deserve the honor of speaking, infidels!
* Bree pokepokes Emili out of curiousity. "Hey.. just what are you again..?"
<Scott> I got 2 words for you, pal. Fuck off.
* Tahn knees Guard A in the groin. ;P
* Emili looks at Bree.
<Emili> Uh... I no know!
<Emili> I got me wings though!.
<Storen> >> Leon's turn.
* Leon turns to the guard and fires.
<Storen> >> Guard A is silenced by Leon's smoking guns! Attack 1: Critical! 41!, 2: 17!, 3: 15!, 4: 16! He falls..
* Bree sweatdrops. "Yeah.. I can see you've got wings..."
<Tahn> Heh.
<Storen> >> Redirecting to B.. Attack 5: 14 damage!
* Leon blows the smoke off his guns, "You've got wings, but you're calling me weird."
<Emili> Well, I think I knew what I was....
<Emili> But I forget!
<Storen> >> Sumire defends...

<Storen> >> Combat Round 2!

<Bree> Eh.. how can you forget a thing like that? I mean.. not as if you could forget to easily..
* Bree looks at her oddly, not cuz she's naked though. (but Bree is lookin' ^^)
* Emili throws her arms in the air.
<Leon> And do me a favor, and don't hit me with those wings again.
<Emili> I don't know!
* Bree attempts to disarm C.
* Emili looks at Leon and flies stands beside him, flapping her wings against over and over and over.
<Emili> I'll do whatever I want! Dumb dumb!
<Bree> Hold that thought.. *tries her disarming*
<Storen> >> Bree's turn.
<Storen> >> Bree almost catches the sword from the Guards hand.. but he is too quick. Bree fails.
* Jack laughs at Emili fwapping Leon.
<Leon> Girl, I can see that you're innocent. However, do not test me..I will kill you.
* Emili beams.
<Scott> Not good enough to stand up to my magic.
<Emili> ^_^
<Emili> Go Scott! Beat'em up!!
<Leon> ...
* Bree patpats Emili on the back "S'ok kid.. don't sweat it.. we'll figure out what you are.."
<Storen> >> Scott's turn.

* Bree points at herself. "I'm a half breed..."

* Tahn winces slightly.

* Tahn starts chanting as a green aura surrounds him. "Winds of fury, winds of wrath! Air Slash!" is the last thing the guard hears before his hearing, and his health, are buffeted out by many tiny little blades of air.
<Storen> >> Tahn casts Wind Slash on the second Guard.. he is buffetted quite nicely. 29 damage. ^_^
* Bree smiles. "Nice to meet you too.."
* Emili smiles and wanders over to Scott.
<Leon> I said pay attention.
<Emili> Hey Scott!
* Jack looks at bree and Emili... "Aww...A kodak Moment..."
<Emili> Guess what!
<Scott> What is it, Emili? I'm rather busy here with a battle.
<Emili> I got me a new friend!

* Scott draws sword and takes a wide stance. He holds the blade parallel to his other arm which is out to the side, acting as a guide for his sword. "Time for them to meet my best attack stance, Gatotsu."

* Bree removes her arm, stepping back to let her have at 'em. "Ehehe.. you go Emili.."
* Emili blurs behind the enemy and taps him on the shoulder "Hey umm.."

* Emili pops the guard square in the forehead with her staff!

<TheStoryteller> [Voice] *clapping* Very good citizens, you actually out-bested the best guards that I brought to the festival for protection against people like you.
<Tahn> Crap.
* Bree sweatdrops, blushing slightly. "Some how.. this pose is better when you don't have clothes..."

* Emili flaps her wings and starts hovering in the air.
<TheStoryteller> [Voice] Though I now have a job to do, the Queen has ordered you all captured!

<TheStoryteller> You all turn around as you all see a rather large beastman standing at 6'6" and weighing in at...a LOT! He's wearing full armor as he has an axe in hand.
* Bree waves a finger. "Tisk tisk.. it's not nice to predict other's futures..."
<Scott> And your guards weren't shit against us. And as far as being capured, I doubt you have the balls to do it.

<TheStoryteller> [Man] The name's Zlyk, Captain Zlyk. Head of the guard.
* Scott assumes his Gatotsu stance and readies himself to strike.
* Leon pulls his guns out. "So you're next to die? Bring it on!"
* Bree scratches her head. "Did he just sneeze?"

* Emili looks at the big man with the axe

* Leon seems to be surrounded by..a dark power...the aura he's giving off is quite strong..but certainly negative.
* Scott keeps in his Gatotsu stance. "I'll take care of that." He rushes at Sneeze boy, his arm acting as a guide for the blade. He runs it through Zlyk's chest. "Take that."

<Storen> >> Scott's attack fails as Zlyk's reinforced steel parries his sword...

* Tahn chucks a dagger at the head of Sneeze-Boy, the Can of Spam.

<TheStoryteller> The weight of the two are too heavy for Emili to carry as she is still grounded.

* Leon yells very loud and a bright red aura surrounds him.
<Storen> >> Leon Focuses Anger.. he gains 10 AP!
* Bree blinks. "Eh? We're not going anywhere...."
* Emili suddenly feels her weight getting heavy and falls down onto the ground.
* Jack looks up at the three on the roof. "Get a nice view up thar!?"
<Storen> >> Sumire blinks, not wanting to strike Zlyk...
<Tahn> He's...
<Storen> >> Zlyk's turn.
<Tahn> Gonna kick our ass now, isn't he?
<Leon> Speak for yourself.
* Bree sweatdrops. "I sure hope he has bad eye sight..."
<Scott> He's really gonna lay the smack down.
* Tahn looks at Leon. "Get over it."
* Emili looks at Zlyk and sticks her tongue out at him.

* Jack falls to his knees and....plays dead.
<Zylk> *laughs* Is that the best you've got? Such strength can't stand before the Church!
<Emili> Poo poo head!
<Tahn> Your attitude. You sound like you're invincible.
<Emili> Well uh...
<Tahn> Someone needs to knock some sense into you, and I'm afraid that's about to happen...
<Emili> I never got scratched.
<Leon> Maybe you should try your luck sometime and find out.
<Emili> No one has hurted me very badly before.
<Storen> >> Zylk leaps suddenly from the ground, and lands right in the middle of all of you, plunging his axe handle into the ground... a holy explosion erupts forward engulfing everyone!
* Emili folds her wings over her body.
* Jack continues to play dead.
* Leon takes the explosion, wondering if this is finally his time to die.
* Tahn takes the explosion, wondering if this is finally Leon's time to die.
* Bree tries defending, hoping to whatever diety that she'll be spared.
* Scott braces himself waiting for the damage to be dealt.
* Emili closes her eyes as her wings take the blow..

Shrine Dungeons

<TheStoryteller> Hours after you all have been captured, you now lay unconscious in a dark, underground dungeon. Emili and Bree are laying on the only bed in the cell.
<TheStoryteller> Sumire is sleeping as well on a stack of hay, and the rest are all on the floor, out cold. Light is nonexistent in the dungeon, as they are a mile underground.
* Tahn is on the ground.
<TheStoryteller> The cell reeks with the smell of urine as by the looks of things, it might as well be a place to urinate on.
<TheStoryteller> [Guard] Wake up all of you, if you want to eat!
<TheStoryteller> A guard starts to bang on the bars with his sword and you all quickly awake.
* Emili sniffs and rushes over to the bars.
<Emili> FOOD!!!
<Scott> O_o;
* Leon stands up, and instinctively goes for a gun.
* Bree looks over at whom she's sharing a bed with, blushing. "Um.. er.. we didn't.. y..you know...?"
<TheStoryteller> [Guard] Come here and get this food!
* Emili is of course, still naked.
* Scott walks over and gets the food for himself and Emili.
* Bree gets up and takes the food while she can get it.
<TheStoryteller> The Guard passes the tray of food under the cell.
<Emili> Gimmie gimmie gimmie!
* Jack groans..... "Woah......Heaven smells like pee...."
* Scott hands Emili her tray. "Here, kid."
* Emili snatches the food and scarfs it down.
<Leon> ...
* Bree investigates the food. "Maybe they're trying to poison us..."
* Emili plops down on the ground and eats
* Leon takes some of the food and sits by himself and eats it
<Emili> Food tastes yummy!
* Scott starts to eat. "This just isn't my day. There goes my rep in the guard."
<TheStoryteller> You all have a piece of stale bread and a cup of water.
* Tahn eats while unconscious.
* Emili drinks the water hastily.
* Tahn doesn't know how, he just does.
* Bree shrugs. "If they were gonna kill us.. the walking bafoon would have done it.." She tosses the bread in her mouth, washing it down.
* Jack tosses away the bread in Emili's direction and starts drinking the water.
* Emili picks up the bread and looks at Jack.
* Jack smiles.
<Emili> You dropped your food!
<Jack> G'head, take it.
<Scott> Not the best of diets..
* Emili hurls it back at Jack a little too hard, and it hits his head knocking him out.
<Sumire> Now...how are we gonna get out of this place? I mean...no windows at all except for this other slot here on this wall, which probably leads into another cell.
<Sumire> I didn't even do a thing, you all got me into this. Why me?!
* Tahn gets up groggily.
<Tahn> I...
<Tahn> Sorry, miss..
* Bree smiles. "There's always a way out of a lock and key... trust me..."
<Emili> I know how to get out!
* Bree blinks. "You do?"
<Emili> Yep!
<Tahn> How?
* Emili points to the cell bars. "You have to break those things!"
* Emili beams.
<Emili> ^_^
<Scott> That's not easy to do, Emili.
<Bree> Well.. at least her heart's in the right place...
<TheStoryteller> You all then notice the slot that Sumire talked about on the wall.
<Tahn> Hmm.
* Bree peeps through the hole.
<Leon> The bars look even too strong for me to bend.
* Tahn tries to pry a brick loose by sticking his dagger in the slot.
* Emili wanders over to the little hole.
<Bree> Waah! Watch out! My head was there!
<TheStoryteller> You hear a voice through the hole. The voice sounds like a man's voice coming from the other side.
<Emili> I could use my magic to blow it up!
<Johnathan> ..hello? Who's there?
<Emili> Emili!
* Emili beams.
<Leon> You would blow us up as well, batgirl.
<Emili> ^_^
<Emili> What's a batgirl?
<Leon> You are.
<Bree> Hey.. who's over there?
<Scott> What?
* Emili rushes over to Leon and pushes her face into his with her bright eyes.
<Johnathan> ..I am. I've been here for.. I don't know how long its been. Who are you?

<Bree> I'm Bob, the wonder munchkin...
<Emili> Bree? I thought your name was Bree, not Bob...
<Tahn> Yeah..
* Bree sweatdrops. "I was making a joke Emili... I am Bree..."
* Leon is rather surprised. "Um..no...I don't. You just look like a girl with batwings to me..batgirl."
<Scott> I WAS a knight attached to the magic guard, but those days are over.
<Tahn> And you didn't look like a munchkin to me..
<Emili> And I thought you said you were a half-breed and not a munchkin....

* Johnathan sighs sounding despondant. "First people I hear down here, and they mock me... I'm Johnathan.. if anyone over there cares."

<Scott> So, pal. What are you in for? *Addressing Johnathan.*
* Tahn talks to the slot. "Where is this?"
<Johnathan> I don't know.. I don't know why I'm here.. it's not like I did anything..
<Bree> This is a dungeon.. this is a cell.. we are here.. what's to know?
* Leon stares into Emili's eyes. "Do you mind... Getting up?"
* Bree searches the room for some useful things to pick the lock.
<Johnathan> ..and we're in the dungeon.. underground..
* Emili looks back at Leon. "Why?"
* Bree searches the bed for useful things.. rest of the cell too. ^^;
<Leon> ..I haven't been this close to another person in a long time, and its bugging me.
<Emili> Why?
<Leon> Because it's bugging me. Stop being so nosy, batgirl.
* Scott looks to the wall where Johnathan's voice is coming from. "Stand back folks. I'm going to try something."
* Tahn tries to cast an Air Slash spell on the wall, trying to jar a few bricks loose.
<Emili> Why? I wanna know!
<Bree> "Hey.. quit calling her that..." *keeps searching*
<Emili> Please!
<TheStoryteller> Footsteps are heard comming closer and closer towards the cell. You hear the sound of keys as another Guard walks over to Jonathan's cell.
* Scott points to the wall with his right hand and quietly says "Fire Arrow".
<TheStoryteller> Your magic seems to fail inside the cell as all you hear is a "poof".
<TheStoryteller> Bree finds nothing.
<Leon> Look, I don't know what or even who you are. I am not going to spill my guts to a freaky half naked batgirl who wouldn't understand even if I told her.
* Bree grumbles. "Not even a bed spring to use..."
* Emili sniffs.
<Emili> You don't like me?
<Scott> Perfect...can't even use magic in here.
<TheStoryteller> [Guard] Jonathan, it's time...
<Johnathan> ..time? Time what?
* Bree walks over to Emili and Leon. "Come on.. cut her some slack... she just doesn't know.."
<TheStoryteller> The guard enters the cell with handcuffs as he goes to cuff the prisoner.
<Leon> I...
* Leon appears quite uncomfortable.
<Scott> Yeah, pal. Just let her be. She's still new to this whole society thing.
<TheStoryteller> [Guard] Have you forgotten so soon John..it's time for your execution.
<Tahn> Execution!?
<Tahn> SAY WHAT?!
<Bree> Ehehe... sounds like that guy has worse luck than us today...
<Johnathan> There HAS to be some kind of mistake.. I.. why.. I didn't even DO anything!
<Leon> I don't tell anyone about myself, batgirl. Do not be insulted because I won't tell you anything.
<TheStoryteller> [Guard] No mistake at all buddy, time to go.
* Jack groggily awakes after the stale bread incident. "Wha...who? Execution?....Huh?"
<Emili> Execution? What's an execution?
<Bree> She has a name.... and it's not batgirl...
* Tahn looks over in Bree's direction. "Don't jinx us."
<TheStoryteller> The guard nears Jonathan as he goes to handcuff him.
<Emili> Is it meal?
<Scott> They're going to kill him, Emili.
<Scott> For what, I do no know.
<Leon> I don't know her name, so it's Batgirl.
<Emili> Kill him?!
<Emili> WHY?
* Johnathan slowly backs away. "I did nothing.. why? What crime am I even charged with?"
<Bree> It's Emili... that's her name...
* Emili yells at the top of her lungs.
* Bree holds her ears. "Gaaaah!"
<TheStoryteller> [Guard] You are being charged for using illegal magic on Lunar.
* Jack jumps. "I'M AWAKE!! I'M AWAKE!!!!"
<Leon> Fine. She's Emili. But she's still a batgirl.
<Emili> HEY YOU MEANIE! WHY ARE YOU KILLING THAT PERSON NAMED JOHNATHAN! YOU UN-NICE PERSON!!!
<Leon> Goddess Dammit! That's right in my damn ear!
* Johnathan sighs again. "Illegal.. it's.. you don't understand.."
<Storen> [Guard 2] Be quiet or we'll take you instead!
* Bree cleans out her ear with a finger. "Try using horrible.. I don't think un-nice is a word..."
* Emili storms over to the wall and starts beating it down.
* Tahn would chuckle at that if that were different circumstances.
<Bree> You know.. that's not such a bad idea.. beat the wall down.. the other door's already open.. and it is cracked...
<Scott> Emili, calm down.
* Johnathan lets the guard near, then lashes out in desperation, aiming at the guard's throat.
<Jack> Umm....I missed something?
<Emili> LET THAT PERSON GO MEANIE!!!
* Bree starts beating on the wall too.
* Leon sighs.
<TheStoryteller> Jonathon trips and falls, landing on top of the guard who's head hits hard, knocking him out.
<Leon> Well, I guess I'll have to do something.
* Jack turns. "Need help with that wall?"
<TheStoryteller> The second guard runs over to the other cell, though Leon grabs him through the bars and gives him a good WHACK, sending him down.
<Storen> [Guard 2] x_X
<Scott> Now we can steal his keys.
* Emili continues to beat on the wall.
<TheStoryteller> The keys fall out of the guard's pocket.
<Leon> You fucking bastard!
* Emili turns around and looks at Leon.
* Johnathan blinks. "Oops..."
* Bree blinks, stopping beating on the wall. "Emili Emili! They got the keys... we can get out.."
* Johnathan stands back up.
<Emili> What's a fucking bastard?
<Scott> Emili, hang on..we can get the keys and we can get the hell outta here.

* Leon starts pulling on the bars.

* Johnathan picks up the keys, and heads to the presumably still-open door to his cell, and out the door.

* Leon keeps pulling on the bars.

* Jack picks himself up....still groggy after getting knocked in the noggin with stale bread.
* Johnathan pauses in front of the door to the others' cell, looking in. "Well.."

<Bree> Something said to hurt a person.. *sweatdrops* Like calling someone a meany... but saying that sort of thing is reaaaally bad...
* Emili walks over to Leon.
* Emili looks down at the guard.

* Leon stops pulling on the bars, face red with anger.

* Leon snaps out of it when he hears that.
* Bree baps Emili lightly. "Shhhh!! That's not lady like! Evil sailors talk like that..."
* Johnathan is thin and stands slightly under six feet tall. His skin is pale and hair is light blonde, suggesting that he doesn't get much sun. He's wearing an obviously dirty and rumpled grey cloak hanging loosely from his sholders.
<Johnathan> ...I suppose I should..
<Leon> Emili, you'd do best not to be like me. I live a life of hatred.
<Tahn> Uh...She didn't say that to you, sir.
<Storen> [Guard] *groans, as he starts to wake up with all the screaming*
<Tahn> Dammit! Hurry up, he's waking up!
* Emili looks at Leon.
* Johnathan looks through the keys, trying them all until he finds the right one. "And keep it down in there!"
<Scott> Let us out and I'll take care of that guard.
<Bree> Just kick the guy in the head.. knock him back out...
<Emili> Oh no! I meant the guard!
<Emili> He's one.
<Leon> I know what you meant.

<TheStoryteller> You all see the wall start to get distorted. The dull dark color of the wall then changes into a bright metallic color.
<Tahn> I've never seen powers like that before..

<TheStoryteller> It seems Jonathon's magic has done something to the wall... looking at it now, it seems like a machine.

<TheStoryteller> You all step out of of the closed area, as you all stretch. You see a piece of paper stapled on a tree.
<Leon> Are you going to make it?
* Tahn reads the paper.

<TheStoryteller> The time is going fast.. new friends have been made and new enemies as well. What is the reason for this? Where is this taking you? And who is Lure?
<TheStoryteller> The answer may be in Reza, as you all head towards that path.
