<TheStoryteller> We last left Bree as she hid carefully behind a stack of crates, considering her little espionage effort almost ended in her getting caught. But she has attracted the attention of a certain man, whom she now knows the truth about...

Zaback Diamond Mines, First Stratus

<TheStoryteller> Saloni, looks warily about the area, his footsteps coming closer.
<Saloni> I said.. who's there...?
* Bree keeps quiet, counting his foot steps, and listening to how close he is.
<TheStoryteller> By Bree's figuring and the frequency of the echoing footfalls, he's nearly on top of you...
<Saloni> I know someone's there... a spy, perhaps?
* Bree grabs her extra tanto, and swiftly tries to jam it in the back of his knee.
<TheStoryteller> Saloni is jabbed in the knee as he approches the corner of the crates, and he goes into a backpedal, yelping!
* Bree raises up. "Let's see your cowardly ass run away from me now..." *grins and walks towards him*
<Saloni> Damn it..! My leg.. o_o
* Saloni raises his blonde head to the attacker...
<Saloni> Wait.. the theif girl.. how did you get in here?!
* Bree takes out her weapons "Dont tell me you dont remember me...?" *flashes a dim grin at Saloni*
* Saloni crawls on the floor in his suit, backing up slowly to a few more boxes...
* Bree laughs. "You actually need to ask that?" *grins* "You just anwsered the question yourself..."
* Bree tosses the crowbar at his head. "Tsk tsk! Running away.. how cowardly of a man... who just loves to kill others!"
<Saloni> M..men.. there's an intruder! Get over here, n..now!
* Saloni ducks the crowbar as it gets impaled in a crate, diamonds spilling outwards...
<Bree> Oh no you don't! *leaps at Saloni aiming to stab him in the heart*
* Saloni throws some diamonds at Bree, and tries to rolls away somewhere safer. o_o
<TheStoryteller> Three thugs appears in the entryway to the lower levels.
* Bree tosses up her arms to shield her eyes. "GRR! You freaking coward! Take your death like a man!" *hops up to her feet after grabbing the crowbar again*
<Saloni> I didn't live this long being foolishly brave.. Men get her..! *scrambles away, cursing*
* Bree tries grabbing onto Saloni to use him as a hostage "I'm not gonna just let you get away old fart! You owe me a life!"
<TheStoryteller> The three step in front of Saloni as your bounce off of them.. you have to get through the human wall if there's any hope to catch him!
* Bree steps back, spinning her daggers around for normal attack. "You guys better get out of the way.. or I'm going through you..." *slides her feet in the diamond dust, taking a fighting stance*

<TheStoryteller> >> Triad A pulls some daggers from his suit and hurls them at Bree! Miss! 5 damage!
* Bree grins keeping her eyes on the three, glancing to watch Saloni if at all possible.
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad B does likewise.. 7 damage! Miss again! ^^;
<TheStoryteller> [Triad] Hold still, you tricky bitch! :P
<Bree> Watch your mouth, bastard!
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad C runs up to Bree and attempts to pound her into the sharp floor.. 15 damage!
<TheStoryteller> From out of nowhere you hear the sound of a sonic boom...
<TheStoryteller> [Voice] Goddess.. Lance...!
<Bree> What the hell??
<TheStoryteller> >> A flash of gold and white rakes across the line.. ^^
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad A, B, and C take 184 damage!

* Bree smiles and waves to Ishtar "I appreciate it! But.. I want Saloni for myself... ok?" *winks*
<Ishtar> What happened between you... he ran away in fear.. o_o

* Bree laughs a bit. "He killed my father.. so, I tried to return the favor..."
* Bree grins at the Traid. "Now boys.. I'll teach you what missing me can really do!" *uses Flip!*
<TheStoryteller> >> Bree Flips! She gains special countering ability! ;)
<TheStoryteller> [Triad] I don't care how many tricks you have, it won't save you..
<Bree> Naaah.. I dont think you quite get the picture.. I'm the greatest thief on Lunar.. what'll save you? *grins*
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad A tries to wield the knives like a claw and rake at Bree this time...
<TheStoryteller> >> He misses, as Bree flips onto his back, making him eat diamond dust! 35 damage! ^^
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad A is Ko'd.
* Bree laughs and points at him. "See? What did I tell you idiots about that?"
<TheStoryteller> >> The second goon is a little bit more succesful.. 8 damage! 5 damage!
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad C reaches for a Jasmine.. he recovers 50 HP!
* Bree holds the cuts "Learning from your partner's mistakes..? At least your not THAT dumb..."
<Ishtar> I have a few new tricks now, Bree.. are you hurt too abdly..?
* Bree winces as she smiles. "My pride says to say no.... but well.. you know.." *shrugs*
<Ishtar> I think we should incapacitate them quickly.. we can't waste time with Saloni running..
* Bree nods. "Yeah.. that's what I was aiming for with the first attack..."
<TheStoryteller> >> Ishtar flexes a wing otuward, as a flurry of small thin projectiles whizz out of it at Triad C!
<TheStoryteller> >> Ishtar uses Flichette! Triad C is Paralyzed! :)
<TheStoryteller> [Triad] Ow.. I can't feel.. my arms.. o_o

<Bree> Hey.. that is a neat trick... I'd say teach it to me.. but I don't think I could learn it.. *smiles*

<Ishtar> I'm still learning myself Bree.. but I least I can do something to save people with them..
<Bree> Ok.. time to end you fast! *races at the last man standing using Fury Punch*
<Bree> You're doing great Ishy... I'd have been here way longer if you didn't help me out..

* Bree scuffs diamond dust at the Triad. "Sheesh.. what'll save me my ass... told you I was the best theif..."
<TheStoryteller> The way to the second level is clear, as the three men lie in various states of defeat.. ^^
<TheStoryteller> Looking on the floor you see a glittering trail... It must have been left by Saloni from the diamond dust.
* Bree takes out and uses a Dried Herb as she walks pass the Triad, following the trail. "Looks like when I hit that crate.. I covered him in diamond dust..."
<TheStoryteller> >> Bree uses a Dried Herb.. she regains 25 Hp. (now 51)
<Ishtar> Bree, I'd try to heal you.. but I don't know how effective magic is in here.. :/
<Bree> It's ok Ishy.. I've been planning for this.. I think I have enough stuff to help me... *smiles*
<Ishtar> You're very brave Bree... do you want me to follow you down or look for the others? It could be a trap..
<Bree> I think it is a trap.. Salami said something about 'changing the place' which means, he's probably been prepared for this too...
<Ishtar> You told me before to go, but I couldn't stand by and watch them hurt you..
<Bree> Plans changed though... I didn't think he'd turn out to be the man I've been looking for.. I meant that incase I got captured..
* Ishtar nods...
<Ishtar> Then let's go.. he left us a trail. :)
* Bree takes Ishtar's hand, and smiles. "I really appreciate you not listening to me.." *nods* "Right! Keep a hold of me, so we wont get separated.. just incase it gets too dark.."
<Ishtar> Oh, I can fix that.. I came prepared, too...
* Bree blinks. "Torch?"
<Ishtar> I just couldn't use this while I was flying..
<TheStoryteller> Ishtar pulls out a flashlight. ^_^
* Bree smiles and lets go of her hand. "Good, that's one thing I didn't think to bring.."
<TheStoryteller> Bree also notices the flashlight is sort of jacked into a spot on her shoulder area near the wing.
<Ishtar> There's so much I don't understand.. but I'm trying..
<TheStoryteller> Ishtar goes down into the tunnel, shining the lamp on the diamond trail.
<Bree> I'll owe you a lot after this.."*notices at a glance, saying nothing about it* We'll figure it all out for you... *keeps her senses alert, listening for Saloni*

Zaback Diamond Mines, Second Stratus

<Ishtar> I wonder what they do with all these diamonds here...
<Bree> He had to have ducked into a room not too far away.. he's injured... *looks at the ground for blood* I'd guess sell... but because of what they can do.. maybe they're meaning to use them to get rid of magic during fights...
* Bree grins. "Oh that gives me such a mean idea!"
<Ishtar> Like what kind of idea?
* Bree gathers up some diamonds as they go. "If we run into a magic user.. we can use these things to fight them.. negate their magics..." *smiles*
<Ishtar> That's an odd thing. Almost none of the RF has seemed to use magic...
<Ishtar> I wnder if this is related to what happened in Vane..
* Bree nods. "Then it makes perfect sense for them to gather this stuff... so they can level the playing field..."
<TheStoryteller> The trail turns the corner, as Ishy follows it. It looks a lot more recent now.
<Ishtar> Maybe.. but what I'm wondering about is the Church draining magic.. -_-
<Bree> Anything's possible... I've seen some amazing stuff on this journey... *perks her ears up, listening for movement*
* Bree holds up a diamond. "Maybe they're like batteries.. suck up and store it..."
<TheStoryteller> Bree starts to hear some movement in the rocks up ahead... a few pebbles tumble down from the cieling.
* Bree shoves an arm across Ishtar to stop her. "<q> He's meaning to collapse the ceiling on us..."
<Ishtar> You may be right.. so many mysteries about the Church... I even wonder if the dragon.. *stops*
<TheStoryteller> Ishtar looks up... there's definitely something trying to break through one of the walls.. but it may not be the cieling. ^^

Zaback Diamond Mines, Third Stratus

<TheStoryteller> In another part of the mine, Chrissy gathers up some equipment in the office, strapping a pair of goggles on her head. ^^
<Chrissy> Who would have thought today would end up like this, huh, Scott? ^^
* Aoshi uses one of Scott's dried herbs while removing the last of the bullets. Tomoe then proceeds to bandaging Scott's woulds.
<Scott> Tell me about it, Chris.
<TheStoryteller> >> Aoshi recovers 25 HP. (now 58)
<Aoshi> That should do the job, Scott. You're now in some semblance of a fighting shape.
<Scott> Thanks, you two.
<Chrissy> So... you need a fast ticket out of here..
* Tomoe helps Scott up. "Who put himself in front of all those bullets, hon?"
<Chrissy> Well, I think I have just the thing!
<Scott> I think so. I need to get Tomoe and Aoshi out of here.
* Chrissy nods. "I hear you there.. now let me see what'd be the best way.."
* Scott turns to Tomoe. "When we get to where we're going, Aoshi will escort you back to Horam. Don't worry too much about me. And I won't forget to write you when we stop in another town."
* Chrissy opens up a blueprint of the mine layout...
<Tomoe> You're not coming with us to Horam?
<Aoshi> He can't. He's got business with the church, right, Astorian?
* Scott nods. "But I'll return to you. That much you can count on." Scott then wraps his arms around Tomoe, holding her for the sake of it.
* Chrissy looks up at Scott and Tomoe, snickering softly.
<Chrissy> Getting all cozy, aren't we? ;)
<Scott> Oh hush, Chris. The Fang kidnapped her last year to get at me after that incident between them and DarkStar.
<Scott> That's why you find me in Zaback.
<Chrissy> I see.
* Scott turns and grabs Misogi from a nearby table, placing it back at his side. "Do you know a way out of this joint?"
<Chrissy> Well, I do know you look a LOT different than when you were in the Guard...
<Scott> That's because I got rid of DarkStar.
<Chrissy> Kudos to you, Scott. *giggles* And as for a way out..
* Scott smiles.
* Chrissy points to a few lines on the graph...
<Scott> Oh, did you hear about what happened to the Chancellor? And to Vane?
* Scott checks out the graph with Aoshi looking over his shoulder.
<Chrissy> Let's just say I'm going to make us a little shortcut here to the cart tracks..
<Chrissy> Huh? You mean Kash?
<Scott> Yeah. He's dead....at the hand of Gregory Windstar.
<Chrissy> Yeah.. it was such a shame.. and to think he fired me a few days before it happened..
<Chrissy> I think he wanted to apologize, but...
<Scott> Well, if all goes according to plan, your boss here won't fire you, because he'll be dead.
<Scott> Well, that's in the past. For now, let's get on to the task at hand.
<Chrissy> Wow.. I know every worker wants his boss dead, but this is too ironic..
<Scott> Your boss is a member of the Rancor's Fang, Chrissy. Remember my investigation? I've recently come upon that information.
<Chrissy> Well, are you ready to rumble? I got the drill bit all set up. We just have to go to the second level shafts to get to the proper spot..
<Scott> Ready and willing.
<Chrissy> So that rumor's true..?! o_O
* Aoshi and Tomoe nod.
<Chrissy> AW MAN! Now I REALLY HATE him!
<Scott> You know, Chris, Revenge is a dish best served cold....and it's getting a bit chilly in here...so...you get my point.
<Chrissy> Screw that jerk..! I'll bring this taco stand down.. hehe.. ^_^

* Chrissy walks out of the office into the caverns.
* Scott and co follow Chrissy.
<Aoshi> So SHE'S your old friend from Vane?
<Chrissy> Wow, I'm that popular? Who knew? ^^
<Tomoe> Scott told us all about you when he would visit Horam.
<TheStoryteller> Chrissy heads to the junction from before turning north.
<Chrissy> Well, we had a lot of fun times together..
<Scott> And I've got bruises, burns and scars to prove it.
<Chrissy> If it weren't for him, I doubt I'd get through school in one piece. ^_-
<Scott> You wouldn't have, if you remember correctly, Chris...the first time DarkStar manifested himself I was trying to protect you.
<Chrissy> Yeah.. it was freaky.. o_o One moment I'm gettign floored, and then the next Scott went postal on their asses...
<Aoshi> That spirit was that tough?
<Scott> You have no idea, Aoshi...no idea at all.
<Tomoe> It's a good thing he was very weak at home then. I like you this way.
<Chrissy> When you got rid of the thing, did you find out what it was doing to your magics and stuff?
<Scott> Yeah...and wait till you see the real me.
<TheStoryteller> Up ahead is a ladder leading up.. it looks like it's for maintainance crews to use..
<Scott> Hmm....going up?
<Chrissy> Hope you don't mind tight spaces a little..
* Chrissy grabs a rung and goes upwards..
<Scott> I'm not claustrophobic.
* Aoshi leads, Scott is second and Tomoe brings up the back of the party.
<Chrissy> I meant you're little friends, Scotty. ^^
<Tomoe> We're fine. Just get us out of here.
<Chrissy> I wonder if the gang knows you and your friends are all split up..
<Scott> Dunno....probably..
<Chrissy> If we run into some trouble, I got your back this time. ;)
<Scott> I appreciate it, Chrissy.
<Chrissy> Besides, I want to run a few field tests on something I'm working on.. you have to see it..
<Scott> Let's see that skill you've worked so hard to perfect with that hammer of yours.
<Chrissy> Actually, hammer nothing! I'm talking about my little inventions. I've finally made some major breakthroughs with the parts down here. ;)
<Scott> Oh...you always were an engineering genius, old friend.
<Chrissy> Well Scott, you did know I was in charge of what was going on in Vane..
<Scott> Of course...especially with the generators.
<Chrissy> Not the generators just, but some other things, too.
<Scott> Well, they don't tell us soldiers everything. Besides, my main mission for the better part of the last year was my RF investigation.
<Chrissy> It was the Church's orders to set up those magic-containment chambers to drain mages.. you think I did the right thing by going along with that?

<Scott> Actually, now that you mention it, no.
<Chrissy> But you said it yourself.. they just gave us orders and crap.. didn't mean I had to like it.
<Scott> There's a lot that's going on in this world that the church is responsible for that seems to have a darker motive in mind. Zlyk is running around killing the 4 dragons...Sinel after 4 people...what next?
<Scott> True..too true.
<Aoshi> What in the world are you two talking about?
<Scott> Just reminiscing. That's all.
<Chrissy> Yeah.. been awhile, y'know?
<Chrissy> Well anyway.. we're here.
<Tomoe> Of course. Scott, you and I have some serious catching up to do later. *Winks*
<TheStoryteller> Chrissy finally reaches the end of the ladder tunnels, stepping off into another series of dimlit shafts.
<Scott> Good...Where to now?
* Scott and co finally get to the top of the ladder and follow Chrissy.
* Chrissy twirls her finger. "We head..." It stops dead ahead. "..that a way."
<Scott> Lead the way.
<TheStoryteller> Just then, you hear the sound of feet coming close... sending echoes in the caves.. Chrissy seems to be walking forward engrosed in a blueprint..
<Chrissy> The wall's got to be here somewhere..
<Scott> Hold on a minute, Chris..do you hear something?
<Aoshi> Footsteps...
<Chrissy> Huh? *looks up*
<Tomoe> They're getting closer...whoever they are.
<TheStoryteller> Just then at the ends of the tunnel.. two pairs of suited men appear, as if patrolling. One in the front and back...
<Scott> ¬_¬x Rancor goons.
<Chrissy> (w) Company.
<Aoshi> (w) Perfect. My Kodachi are just asking for blood.
<TheStoryteller> The two groups close in on you, raising their voices.
<TheStoryteller> [Triad] Hey you there..! What are you doing in this area?
* Scott reaches for his sword. "Taking out the trash."
<Tomoe> I'll stay back where it's safe.
* Scott nods.
<Chrissy> Yeah..well.. I got a call that somebody's brains needed an overhaul.. was it you guys? ;)
<Aoshi> My Kodachi were asking for Rancor blood...so I think you fit the bill.
<TheStoryteller> [Triad] You're with them! You're going to die, you scum.. opposing the RF is death!

* Scott and Aoshi take to the front row. Tomoe get to where she'll be safe.
<Scott> Chrissy, Aoshi, you ready?
<Chrissy> Of course.. my genius never fails! ;)
* Aoshi nods, grinning. "This'll be fun.
<TheStoryteller> >> Aoishi's turn.
* Aoshi causes several ethereal clones to appear around the front enemy row, and then slices them up with his twin Kodachi. "Kodachi Nitou Ryuu...KAITEN KEMBU!"
<TheStoryteller> >> Aoishi assaults the front row! 103 damage a piece!
* Scott starts lunging from one leg to the next, building up speed for his attack.
<TheStoryteller> >> Scott's turn.
* Scott rushes at his enemies so fast that he disappears, but the speed of his movements and the power in his legs leaves impressions in the ground. All that is seen other than that is Scott's blade slicing through all enemies. BLADE ANGER!
<Aoshi> So many new techniques...I'll have to fight you again, Astorian.
<TheStoryteller> >> Scott moves as a blur, striking in front and behind the group.. 115 damage! The Traids in front are barely standing. ^^
<Scott> And I look forward to fighting you again too, Aoshi. When you get back to Horam, get our reversed edges ready.
<Aoshi> I'll have them ready when you return.
<Chrissy> Ohoh.. boy are they gonna love this.. ^^
<Scott> Go get 'em, Chrissy.
* Chrissy takes her hammer and starts swinging it in a wide circle... suddenly bringing it down upon Triad A as an electrical discharge racks their form! "Mjolnir!"
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad A takes 175 damage.. he's pulverized. :o
<Scott> O_Ox She's gotten stronger since we last saw each other...
<Scott> Damn, Chris.
<Chrissy> Whoo.. that felt good! ^_^
<Scott> I knew you were a genius, but you swing one mean hammer too.
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad B strikes at Chrissy twice!
<Scott> Look out, Chrissy!

<Aoshi> that's going to leave a mark.

<Scott> You'll heal, Chris.

<Tomoe> I knew they were good...but able to stand up to this? They're stronger than I thought. I guess that comes from those two fighting each other every chance they got.
<Chrissy> Oh, you mean you and this guy got got a little rivalry, eh Scott? ^^
<Scott> We're sparring partners.
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad D uses a Jasmine on himself.. 50 Hp restored!

<Scott> That's not going to help one bit....Aoshi, go for that one that just healed himself.
<TheStoryteller> [Triad] It doesn't matter.. this is just the tip of the iceberg.. we already know where you are..
* Aoshi rushes at Triad D, leading iwth the left Kodachi and slicing him up 6 times. KAITEN KEMBU ROKUREN!
<Scott> Too bad you won't live long enough to tell anyone.
<TheStoryteller> >> Aoshi uses a multiple hit technique.. 5! Critical! 23! 10! 9! 12! Critical! 27!
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad D slumps down... coughing up blood..
<TheStoryteller> >> Scott's turn.
* Scott leaps into the air, getting as much elevation as he can. he then dives at Triad-B bringing his sword down like a hammer on his opponent's head. HITEN MITSURUGI RYU....RYU TSUI SEN!
<Scott> See how you like what Nasch got...sliced in two.
<Chrissy> Woah.. go Scott! You're a regular samurai! ^^
<Aoshi> We gave him a nickname in Horam...Battousai. Basically it means Swordmaster.
<TheStoryteller> >> Scott's ultimate assult slices him up! 120 damage! Dispatched!
<Chrissy> And I get the last laugh.. check this out.. ^_-
<Scott> Go for it, Chrissy.
<TheStoryteller> >> Chrissy reaches into her robes for a small device, which extends into some sort of mini-satellite dish...
<Tomoe> What good is DSS service going to do us here?
<TheStoryteller> >> Chrissy points it at Triad C, as lines of force seem to exude from his very skin into it..
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad C loses 45 Mp :O
<Scott> O_Ox You are a genius, Chrissy.
<Chrissy> Just wait.. here comes the best part..
<TheStoryteller> >> She raises it up, and the collected energies swirl into a concentrated beam of light!
<TheStoryteller> >> Triad takes 180 damage! He's turned to dust. ^^

<Chrissy> It's my Mana Laser.. neat huh? ;)
<Scott> Very.
<Tomoe> I can see where you two must have been a dangerous combination back in Vane.

<Chrissy> Uh oh.. these guys are serious. o_o

* Chrissy pulls out the drill, powering it up.
<Chrissy> I guess I just have to hope this works! ^^
<TheStoryteller> Chrissy slams it into the wall, as the whole tunnel shakes violently..!
<Scott> You know what? I have just about had enough of these Rancor goons. When I get to where I can cast magic, I'm going to meteor swarm this joker.

<TheStoryteller> Meanwhile.. Bree hears the shaking getting louder... when suddenly, a few rocks go flying from your right.
<Ishtar> Bree... something's coming.. ah..ah.. o_o *pulls Bree down*

* Bree grabs for Ishtar's hand again, ending up getting pulled down. "Gah!"
<TheStoryteller> A few rocks go flying over your heads.. You also hear some shouts as the air gets filled with dust.. ^^
* Bree covers her head. "Great! The sneak's trying to cave it all down on us!" *crawls ahead trying get away from flying rocks*
<Ishtar> Did he set explosives... *crawls around, coughing*
* Bree cokes on the dust and coughs. "Come on Ishtar! We gotta get away from it!"
<Bree> No way.. those aren't explosives.. I think he's doing it manually.. some kinda machine from the sound...
<TheStoryteller> When some of the dust settles Bree spots someone on the ground.
* Bree waves the remainder of the dust from her face, coughing. "Who's there?!"
* Scott is pounding on a wall of rock with his fists. "NOT NOW...TOMOE!"
<TheStoryteller> You hear some muffled voices from the other side...
* Bree blinks. "Scott? That you?" *gets closer to see*
<Chrissy> Whoops... Scott.. where'd you end up??
* Scott lets out one more punch, hitting the outer knuckes, then a nanosecond later with the top knuckles...for a better attack.... "I'LL BREAK THROUGH THAT WALL...FUTAE NO KIWAME!"
* Ishtar uncovers her head. "Scott?"
<Bree> HEY! What the hell are you doing over there?! Trying to kill US?!
* Scott draws his sword and assumes an offenive stance. "They're trapped in there."
<Chrissy> Scott.. don't throw a tantrum.. I sealed the guys off.. but I think it backfired a bit..
* Scott takes an offensive stance, holding his blade parallel to his free arm, which is held out to the side to act as a guide for the sword, and then rushes at full speed at rock-wall, and stabs the blade right at rock-wall with all his upper body strength. GATOTSU 1ST STANCE!
<TheStoryteller> Scott bounces off the diamonds.. landing on the ground painfully.
<Scott> Dammit....
<TheStoryteller> Bree can hear Chrissy's voice too..
<Bree> Hey Scott! If she's messed with the walls.. that barrier may be all that's holding the rest up! You may kill us all!
<Chrissy> I'm going to take your friends around..! There's one other way outta here..
<Scott> Get to it, Chrissy. I'm trusting you with their safety.

* Bree coughs out the last of the dust, brushing the rest off her bunny suit. "Geez.. now I need to do laundry..."
<Ishtar> It's good to see you're alright Scott... :)
* Scott nods as he turns away from the group. "Damn Rancor...BASTARDS!"
<Bree> Yeah.. but ticked off as ever...
<TheStoryteller> Chrissy's voice fades out behind the rocks...
<Scott> If I see another of their goons, I'll slice that SON OF A BITCH TO RIBBONS!
<Bree> Hey Scott.. I'm not hanging around here waiting for you.. I have my own agenda.. see ya.. *starts to follow the diamond dust again*
<Scott> Aw hell..may as well not hang around. They'll be safe.
<Ishtar> Scott.. maybe you should come.. it's not safe here...
* Scott follows Bree. "Wait up!"
* Ishtar follows behind Bree a ways.
<Scott> And maybe I'll get to slice up some more Rancor hide.
* Bree keeps her pace. "No time to stop for anyone.. I'm not losing that guy... and DON'T you interfere.. he's mine..." *looks down, intent on folowing the trail*
<Scott> Wouldn't dream of it..
<TheStoryteller> Bree soon finds a door... the trail goes right under it.
<Bree> But.. do me a favor..
* Bree stops at the door, and takes out her Angel Tear and hands it to Scott. "If I fall in battle.. please use this on me ok?"
<Scott> You've got it.
* Scott takes the Angel tear.
* Bree nods and looks back to see if Ishtar's still with them.
* Ishtar nods. "It's a good idea.. with these diamonds I have no idea if magic will revive you..."
* Bree smiles. "I'm prepared..." *starts to look the door over for traps* "Always..."
<Scott> Or if my star magic can up your speed...or even create a barrier...
<Bree> I have to do this on my own.. save that angel tear.. but that's one thing I can't do myself...
<TheStoryteller> The door is a simple iron one.. in fact it's not even securely locked.. it must have been done in haste.
* Scott whispers to Bree. "There is a simple way to break that down. Want me to show you?"
* Bree takes a deep breath, and opens the door slowly being careful that Saloni may be hiding near it perched to strike
<TheStoryteller> The knob on the door clicks.. opening slowly..
<TheStoryteller> It's dark inside, but your hear some mumbling..
* Bree peers carefully inside, ready for Saloni's tricks, ear twitching at the mumbling. "<q> Sounds like he's in here..."
<Saloni> Hurry up Liza.. I'm going to die here.. in this place..
<Bree> <q> Ishtar... We may need that Flashlight...
* Ishtar raises it up...
* Scott tries to create a small star to help Ishtar shed some light on this subject.
<Bree> .oO(Crap.. don't call her, you spineless weakling... depending on a woman...)
* Bree shakes her hands. "<q> Nonono.. not now... wait, and blind him with it..."
<TheStoryteller> You come upon Saloni in a quivering heap on the floor, cluthcing his bleeding leg.. Liza looks like she is bandaging it.
* Bree slips in the room, trying to take refuge in the shadows, and sneak up to them.
<Liza> Oh just shut up... Always whimpering like some dog..
<TheStoryteller> Liza stands up, flicking a switch on. The whole room is suddenly very well lit.
* Liza sighs.
* Bree squints her eyes, quickly adjusting to the new light. "Nice to see you again.." *smiles*
<Liza> And you too Bree... I see you've already started working your charms on Saloni here.
<Saloni> She nearly cut my leg off!
* Bree smiles. "Yeah.. he had this coming to him for many years... cowardly S.O.B.."
<Bree> Nearly.. I meant for you to suffer.
<Liza> So you found out..
* Scott stands cross-legged in the doorway. "So I see the bitch wants to wind up like her buddy Nasch. Hey, Bree-chan. Want me to deal with her while you take care of Saloni?"
<Liza> Looks like the little liar couldn't cover his tracks after all.
* Bree points down at Saloni. "That he's the one who killed my father? Yeah.. I found out..."
<Bree> Scott.. dont harm Liza... ok? I owe her.
<Liza> Scott.. I had to give you credit for taking out Nasch.. you've got talent..
<Bree> Not unless, she tries to stop me.

* Bree points at Saloni, angry and almost in tears. "This son of a bitch killed the last bit of family I had in this world!! What would you do if you were in my place?! HUH!?"
<Liza> I never said he didn't deserve it..
<Bree> Job description then... *looks down at Saloni, angrily*

* Scott rests a hand on the hilt of his sword.

* Bree takes out her ash dagger and puts some slices into Liza's clothes, making them appear as convincing strikes. "Right.. let's go." *pats Liza on the head and heads for the door*
<Bree> Hope that wasn't her favorite suit... *smiles*
